Nice job!! that bike has a lot of cables to begin with, you did well with tidying it up!!!! I can't believe that BT fit in that Avalon. I Will be using that frame for my next build.
WOW!!! Impressive. Love what you have done with the exhaust pipe. Mine really bothers me. I have to build something like yours to free the exhaust to the back.
alibaba66able I cut the end pipe out of my stock exhaust pipe inside and out then reinstalled the bolt-on cap with super glue(which is a biker's best friend for vibrating parts) this gave it more flow and a much better sound. No real need to buy a custom exhaust.
That is a lot of weight on those wheels n narrow tires.but a very nice build job. I would have jack shafted it to take advantage of the 10 speed gears for climbing grades and slow traffic,etc. I want to pimp out a Mongoose Dolomite 7 speed with fat tires. A 26" frame with 24" X 3" or 4" rims & tires. The smaller tires will give me more low end torque and the gearing will give me a good top end.
It looks like the pull start housing sticks out too far. If you actually had to pedal, it looks like your left leg would be hitting it all the time. I was considering that engine for my bike build, but after seeing how asymmetrical it is, I may have to reconsider, or figure out a bracket to offset it to the right about 2-3 inches.
Danny Torino try using a Mongoose Mack or other bike with mag wheels and a disc brake adapter. You'll thank me later when your wire spokes don't exist. No spoke breakage
My drive chain broke 2 miles from my tools.Was glad I still had regular use of my mt.bike.Rode a 1/2 mile to diff places,and 5th had Master links.50lb bike was easy to pedal,but not to push.
Jack shaft kits are a big fat pain in the arse, been there done that, plus the rear cassette and bicycle chains are far to weak. I purchased the sic bike parts heavy duty kit, loads of ongoing maintenance.
Nick Hersheys it's not compatible with any upgrade mods out there, you're stuck with an overweight bike that hasn't enough power to get out of its own way...just listen to how it bogs down when he hits the throttle! I implore you, don't waste your money you will be sadly disappointed, I've built many many of these China doll motors and this POS is not what you want, it gives gasbikes a bad name!
The engine is a Flying Horse Bullet Train Electric Start Engine Kit. The performance sucks. You better off with a manual clutch driven 80cc motor. Nice bike though.
long intake for low end torque or a boost bottle for short intake. Short intake for speed, adjust needle in carb for more fuel. Remember to use a valve on the boost bottle so you can properly tweak performance to your intentions.
Yes so I have to say I like the bike a lot and it looked really good I thought it was b** *** the part you lost me at was that fan the cooling fan are you kidding me right now what do you seriously think that is going to do this s*** ain't going to matter when you're going down the road that ain't gonna do s*** you're gonna get more cooling from the wind naturally blowing by it not understand maybe like if it's a really super hot day and you're sitting still a lot and it's running still then maybe but that fans so tiny they ain't gonna do nothing that thing looks hideous that was sad I started laughing when I saw that other than that the whole bike altogether is really good but personally I would never drive a centrifugal clutch again because the last one I had something happened and the throttle got stuck partially open it's almost as if the clutch was not disengaging and I almost got into a really serious car crash on a really busy road
