More pics of the build from various angles: imgur.com/gall...
So I'd like to introduce a new dynamic to my RU-vid channel: (very) occasional videos of my LEGO creations! If you already follow me on Instagram @brianleahyart, you might have heard my backstory of how I used to love LEGO's as a kid, but forgot about them as I got older, only to re-discover their awesomeness during this COVID year we've been having. I have been enjoying building nature-and-architectural-based scenes with some movement added, either via motor or hand crank. This one here is my 2nd attempt at adding water movement to a build. I present: The Water-Powered Mill Along The River 🔊🔊
The various movements all stem from one main axle connected to the motor.
Also, a brave soul on Reddit kindly pointed out that the water wheel is actually turning the wrong way in this video 😂 Such a face-palm moment for me. The motor can turn it either way and the water action will still look the same. I can't believe I didn't look up a reference video before deciding to spin it this way in the film, haha. Oh well 🤷♂️As they always say, you live and you learn (about water wheels)
