I currently have a 6a, and I’m gonna switch to the Moto edge 2022. The reason being the Pixel devices always feel buggy and more like a beta unfinished product. Quite a shame since they have potential. I have been a Motorola user and fan for years. And this Moto edge 2022 feels like a huge step forward. And with it being on sale for $349 it’s an excellent overall value.

I had Motorola before getting 6a and love Motorola phones. But they have the worst cameras and update timeline. They need to work on those. Other than 6a warming up occasionally (which has improved since Android 14) it's been mostly bug-free for me.

I was considering a budget phone for home use because I have an extra free line with 5G. Almost bought the pixel but I went to the T-Mobile store and they had the Edge 2022 for free as long as you turned in an old phone. It's definitely not flagship but it does work amazingly well. The battery could use some work but other than that it's incredible. I do have to mention that when I send photos from my s24 ultra to the edge via WhatsApp the qualiis questionable so there's that. I been using it a lot more than my S24 Ultra and that's saying something.

Dude edge is water resistant lol not to mention it's 6.5" inch googles so over rated I'm so sick of the favoritism it's hilarious. Motorola has put the smack on some of the trash out. I got the 8gb 256gb straight punches. Buy the better model dude.

I have the Moto edge 30 international version, its nicer looking than the US version in my opinion....a lil more squared edges. This phone is fast, smooth, vibrant screen and takes amazing pics....I also just bought the Moto Edge Plus 2022 for 499 and it kicks serious butt.

I've used both, 6a haptics has flagship quality haptics and edge has the usual budget/midrange quality haptics.

I am an HTC and LG fanboy. Was HTC from the EVO LTE in 2012 (Samsung Epic 4G from 2010 before that), and bought every new phone annualy until they pulled out of the US market after the U11. Went with the LG V30+, then G8X + Dual Screen, and now my Velvet + Dual Screen. Bought a Pixel 6a last October due to lack of updates, but switched back to my Velvet in January because it is the BEST phone I have ever had (the Dual Screen!), and it got Android 12, and still being updated (April security update now, but it's bi-monthly, so hoping for Android 13/June update this month). I LOVE and ADORE my Velvet, but it doesn't support T-Mobile 5G UC, amd the USB-C port is shot. Headphone jack is shot as well. Been debating for months over the Galaxy A54 and Pixel 7a, but discovered the Edge 2022 this week. Edge 2022 literally the best of both worlds (minus expandable storage, and cameras not as good), but I'm taking a chance, and bought the Edge 2022 for $250 "Like New". Took the same chance on my Velvet as "Like New" for $300 over two years ago, and the phone was literally BRAND NEW just without the box. Here's hoping my luck strikes twice with the Edge 2022.

Eight months later, how do you like the Moto Edge 2022? I just bought it for $150 new and am selling my Samsung A53. The A53 has a garbage processor, I can't stand it. The A53 has incredibly good cameras though (especially selfie camera) so I'm just hoping Motorola's are decent enough. Does Motorola give a "Warm color filter" option after you take a photo? I might have to just download another app for filters.

Thanks for the video. I have both phones in my Arsenal. And I know we're supposed to say that the S24 plus is alot better but to be totally honest I can't yeah it's newer and has the latest and greatest chipset but the V60 holds it own. And when you add the Duel Screen the V60 is still a powerhouse. And with the price that you can get the V60 at it's a win

The "podcast" setting on the Motorola has some of the most balanced sound for stock phone speakers. I have tried it and have been pleased with how music sounds using the Podcast pre-setting. Try it...

T-Mobile has a promo where you can trade in any phone for a $498 credit for the Motorola Edge 2022. Trading in my Pixel 6A for the Edge 2022 and hoping for the better. The 6A is fine except the battery drains like crazy! I charge it before going to bed and wake up with the battery losing 10%. And no wireless charging. I really wanted to like my 6A, but just can't.

Get the Moto Edge 2022, not the buggy overheating Pixel. Unless you're a photographer, in which case never go with Motorola (Samsung, Apple, and Pixel all offer top camera quality.)

Is the pixel 6a just as buggy as the 6 pro? I was at a celebration of life for my late wife and the 6 pro as far as it came to video even with the July updates would boot cycle only when I tried to take video. It was a lousy piece of junk and made me miss some important videos. If they fixed this with the 6a I might consider it as other than videos it was great. Typing from my new moto edge 2022 btw

If you're looking for a phone that has amazing cameras, the Google Pixel 6a is for you battery life is not the best . If you're looking for a better performance phone with faster refresh rate, not the best cameras and extremely long batteries up to 12 hours, sometimes even longer The Motorola edge 2022

Same here unlocked version, it's a good phone for the price and looks new but had not had any OS update and security update is from September lol. I grabbed it as they promised 4 years of updates but I guess it was all talk.

@@jaeehovaaThere was a mistake because on Moto site Edge 2022 will stop getting security updates on August 2025. So it’s 2 + 1 but not 3 + 1.

Sic Erick what's up just watching videos and mostly watch yours I want to say this moto edge download pixel camera and it give same results as any pixel all features work perfect problem there is ways around all that load camera see for yourself best camera phone is mostly iPhone but they just suck unless ur a apple fanboy I'm 63 yrs old I love tech and most tech nit pick lil woman🙂

I love my pixel 6a. Been a great speedy phone and I came from the lg v60. I'm not a fan of how bloating feeling the Motos are. Pixel has great form factor.

i have been using pixel 6A for last 2 mos -ok in general, but not great battery performance wrt charging speed and battery life. Fingerprint sensor kind of sucky and works only abt 50% of the time on 1st swiping attempt. Will be receiving my moto edge 2022 later this week and I will update my comments....
