Excellent Unboxing and Review, Mike. For the price of this phone it's extremely worth it and the fact that it's unlocked makes it even more extremely awesome. There's no way you can get a great affordable phone with low end (but great) specification and up to date software, there no way (without going for a device that's up there in terms of pricing). This phone would be great for a person like myself, who can't not basically spend a lot on a phone due to financial reasons. If only the availability of it was in my country.

Seriously, it's great. Perfect for games like Asphalt 8 and Modern Combat 4 with little no frame rate issues. It runs apps fluidly and perfectly. It's a great phone for the smart phone users who aren't looking for the best of the best specs. It holds up great.

Does the phone heat up after hard usage, e.g playing a graphics game or watching a movie? Comparison of the high values phones I love how my expensive htc, galaxy, iphones overheat. Just a curiosity does the moto g heat pr warm up?
I went with the regular Moto G (non-google play) and am very happy with it. It's basically stock android with a couple nice features like FM radio, Migrate Assist (which came in real handy). You actually get more with the non-google play Moto G. But, you can't lose with either one.
Great video. Please remind prospective buyers that they can also purchase the "global" version from Motorola that will work perfectly on AT&T and many other prepaid carriers that use their bands. This way they can still keep useful features like the moto assist. Cheers!

you can get moto x's active display feature with apps like dynamic notification and active notify! i use dynamic notification and it makes my little moto g feel like a moto x! :)
13:31 Weird thing happened on the screens, the Moto G GPE doesn't have transparent menu buttons, is that normal or is it something you need to activate on the settings?
saran p.s It has 4.4 and 4.4.3 is not an actual update . It will get the next version for sure and it was confirmed by Google/Motorola and they will keep their promise now that Lenovo bought Moto since moto g has pretty much stock android .

What does it mean, "not all T bands are supported/band restrictions"? I'm kinda new to the smart phone thing, but newer to T-Mobile as I'm on my sisters family plan..
