A true “R” will have a gas plug on the back of the radio. This is one of the better XTS3000 videos out there. I have lots of 3000’s and 5000’s. The 3000’s are getting super cheap and are still excellent radios compared to the cheap crap that’s out there now. Also - that sounds analog for sure. P25 will sound a lot more “muffled”.
The CPS used to be available online for this, the MTS and the newer 5000’s ( Astro25 CPS ). However, it has now been taken down from every website that had it up. So, right now I have no idea where to get it besides Motorola direct ( read - big $$ ).
