My high school principal owned an Avalanche exactly like this. I forgot if it was an LT or LTZ but it looked like the tester. Of course he was a University of Texas Longhorn fan.
Awesome car, very useful for work, very comfortable, easy to fix, not many issues of this gen, big bed, which can be extended, very good 4x4 in snow.Owning this car, dark ming blue color, 90 000 miles already, but this car is insane. Would buy it again and again if 3 gen been produced still and available to buy. Wheel is very comfortable, easy to drive. Safety i could say 5out of 5. At all views my favorite car. Compare to ford f150 or silverado.Own them too
It was a matter of "pick your poison" with these. Either get the first generation without the AFM and have to paint the grey plastic body cladding every year, or get the second generation without it and deal with engine problems because of AFM. Or you could just paint the grey plastic cladding in the body colour on the first generation, or delete the AFM on the second.
