I love my 2005 Mustang GT! It's underpowered compared to the current stuff but still really fun, it has almost 400 hp with the mods I have on it anyway and I can't use much more around here (no track to race at)
@@ghunt81 dang, my 06 Mustang GT with the auto is stock, except for a K&N cold air intake which gave the 4.6L 3v an additional 15 hp, and the car also has an MBRP dual exhaust with mufflers
Got a Black '06 Mustang Gt AEM Brute Force CAI, Ford Performance Racing Cams, Bama Tuned. Ford Performance 62mm Throttle Body. 3.50-Inch Aluminum One Piece Driveshaft By The Driveshaft Shop. 285/40ZR18 NT555 G2's in the Rear. 245/45ZR17 Falken Pro G4 A/S in Front. KONI Shock and Struts with BMR Lower Control Arms, (Non-adj) Poly Bushings.
I had a 2007 mustang gt with the upgrades gearing, i hated that car. Sure, it was fast, but boring to drive. I raced it alot and beat quite a few cars, lots of 350zs, turbod 240s, a 1g audi s4, and other mustangs, etc, but it never felt that fast. It also heat soaked like crazy, in hot weather it felt like it had 50 less horsepower. Also, it was scary at speeds over 120mph, it was darty and the steering was too light. My 1996 mitsubishi 3000gt vr4 was much faster in a straight line and i could drive it at 140mph comfortably. It made me laugh that a car from the 90s performed so much better than a 'new' car (at the time). I was pretty happy when i sold that Mustang.
Lol go get your rice jdm junk the 3000 gt vr4 0-60 was 5.4 about the same than these, I absolutely love my 09 GT /CS is fast enough and it feel right with no less power, there’s nothing whatsoever boring on driving them, And comparing to new muscle cars with a lot more power feels and runs about as fast , the 3V is still a dream to drive. You’re comparing apples to oranges, the 3000 gt was turbocharged to obtain such power and the Mustang from that era was no sports car...

Heat soak city and a V8 with only 300hp and a 5 speed. Maybe you could beat a 300ZX TT...I owned both dumbass. The VR-4 is MARKEDLY faster than any Mustang besides the 2013 models. Try 0-60 in 4.8 and the 1/4m in 13.4-13.6@101-105mph bone stock in magazines and 13.1-13.3 with owners that can launch it - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vFEYkgOZdC4.html - 13.2@102.7mph bone stock. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-kBTwc8h-cnI.html - 1994 VR4 0-60 4.9, 1/4m 13.5@103mph. And they didn't even launch it correctly. www.motortrend.com/news/virtual-velocity/ - 1/4m 13.5@101.6, again with a bad driver. www.motortrend.com/news/mitsubishi-3000gt-vr4/ - 0-60 in 4.8, 1/4m 13.6. *Show me a stock mag time of an 05-09 Mustang GT doing 60mph in 4.8 seconds and the 1/4m in 13.2@102.7...oh wait, you can't...the 05-09 Mustang GT hits 60 in 5.1 and the 1/4 in 13.8-13.9@100-104mph, both times are slower than the VR-4. If you want more proof, I can get it for you. You sound like an idiot muscle head. Go drive your bucket LT1 lmao
@@gorgeusjames Yeah sure kid. I highly doubt you've gone over 120mph. 4th gear in that car is geared worse than the VR4 (which has a 6 speed) and God forbid it's hot out, your bucket Mustang will lose 20hp *easy* I've Never owned a car that heat soaked as bad as that shit Mustang. It's somewhat fun to drive, I'll give you that. I even listed cars I beat. But grow up. The VR-4 was a $60k car, that ratty Mustang GT was $25k. Those cars aren't even in the same class. I smoked a 2011 Mustang GT from 20-120mph by half a car until he let off
