Greetings from Roanoke, Nate. Bought a 310gs from Frontline, and you're basically a legend there. I subscribed and am enjoying your vids. Question: any advice on an under seat exhaust system that can still accommodate side bags? I'd really like to remove the passenger pegs and the brackets that hold them and the stock pipe. Thanks!
Sluice, congratulations and I’m glad you had a great experience with frontline. Thank you for the compliments! Appreciate you adding me to the watch list and taking the time to comment on my video. Honestly, I do not know of any exhaust systems that would go directly under the seat as I haven’t researched that or thought of putting the system there as it would eliminate any suspension travel and accumulate a lot of mud and dirt. I thought of eliminating my passenger pegs myself, and was going to have a custom exhaust hanger made for the exhaust that would also support my Shad panniers. I went with the Shad SH23 panniers as they offered the most balanced and compact bag system I could find. They also keep a really clean look when the bags are off the bike. I considered removing my foot pegs from the foot peg bracket when I was looking for ways to clean up the bike and lose weight. But you never know when someone might need a ride, for fun of emergency. I wish I had a better response for this question but the foot peg brackets are used for the exhaust and most pannier systems to allow for a secure mount. I’m on a secret mission now but will be going over the g310gs accessories I’ve outfitted on my personal bike when I get back to my machine. Thanks again. Cheers, ~Nate
