I just bought a 2008 C109R with 13k on it. My first bike as well. Absolutely a joy to ride. Yes a bit heavy but being 6*8" and 240lbs I don't notice it. The handle bars don't touch my knees lol. I drove 1600 miles round trip to pick up a 2008 C109RT this year too! I've wanted one since they came out. Flirted with the idea of a M109R so I could get something newer, but ultimately decided I was way too spoiled on windshields, and windshields on the M just don't look right IMO. It's a beast of a bike! Hope you're enjoying yours as much as I am mine!
I've had two C50s and yes you're right, the C109 is a HUGE difference in weight. Having ridden both the M109 and the C109, I'd advice the M109. Thanks for your comment 👍
Yes it's the one lol. I've considered buying it in the past but I ended up with the C90BT as it had sale bags and windshield already installed. The C109 is a great bike though. But technically the RT model should have windshield, saddlebags, and backrest factory fitted.
Hey, that's the one at the Ford/Suzuki place in Palmy, right? I have sat on that one and looked at that one several times. I wonder how many times I will watch this video... D'oh!
