The real Mount Akina, known as Mount Haruna. The mountain road upon which the origins of the Initial D story is based, a bucket list place had to experience. Thanks to my friends, Ashley and Evan, they set me up with this part of my Japanese vacation to pay homage to the anime series that had a huge influence on my life as I know it today.
The car is an Autozam (Mazda) AZ-1, a sporty kei car with 60hp, 9000rpm rev limit, and a turbo. Plenty of fun for the twisty touge.

I practice the fictional Mt. Akina on Asseto daily. It's so surreal feeling so familiar with somewhere I've never been to.

This is actually first time I see a real life footage of the real Mount Akina than in anime or in Assetto Corsa :D So thanks for the video. Very inspiring landscape as a real thing! :)

VagaXt Somebody should get an army and just sand those bumps down. Disguise themselves as construction workers and nobody will notive for a few days.

Locals don't drive these courses anymore so no point... There are much better and less known courses without speed bumps.

He is doing everything wrong...no eurobeat, so his engine is missing something between 40 - 10000hp. That CRV is leaving him big gap from inside of turns, easy internia drift and he is gone. Plus he have no cup of water.
