Bethany Shanholtz, a beautiful young government operative, moves back to her rural Virginia hometown to get away from the spy life. But townspeople start getting murdered and her government bosses convince her to investigate, unofficially. She's not allowed to use agency resources so she calls upon friends from her childhood as a home-schooled farm girl. The investigation quickly leads to Bethany's ex-boyfriend Jamie and the mystery surrounding his sister's mysterious death many years ago. The closer Bethany gets to the answers, the more the murders seem to be related to her own past - and the town's future.

I'm so sick and tired of all the adds that force themselves on you when you're watching movies, etc. It's soooo annoying! I refuse to order/buy anything from them! They should make their own add videos and leave everyone alone so they can watch what they're watching w/out constant interruptions! 😠

Yes, the movie is not amazing but keep going guys!!!! Don’t get discouraged!!! There’s so much need of clean entertainment! I honestly spend hours trying to find clean movies for our kids to watch!

For my future reference: This production feels like a low-budget indie film. Actually, I know a lot of indie films that are much better. They tried, but the acting is less than mediocre; as well as the writing and cinematography.

From Bethany's Mom saying "Yikes' like she's in a Flintstone cartoon to James's girlfriend's father actually WAVING to someone in the same room as him (!!!) this film goes from bad to worse to diabolical (apparently the lead actress actually wrote the screenplay). As to the 'actors' - they're so 'wooden' the corpse (played by the lead actress's father) looked more alive than any of them but the gong for The Worst One - though it was hard to choose from a cast of so many - was Sheriff Foreman, an 'actor' who walks around devoid of any expression, one hand in his pocket as if he just wants to leave (which would probably be for the best ) and if you shouted "Boo!" he'd probably fall over! I fear this may become some sort of a TV series as it ended on a very strange note - ie a cackling woman (the deceased 'Rose"?) out to cause mischief. I hope to Goodness I'm wrong so you've all been warned ........

I can usually stand the majority of low-budget movies... But, this one was excruciating! Contemplated stopping it the whole way through. Had to watch it at 1.75x speed.

I just watched another movie that follows this one, but it was with Deep C Digital. The name is "Mount Hideaway Mysteries: Heartache and Homecoming 2022". You'll love this, it is
