People are so stupid.. the drummer is doing that off beat on purpose, maybe listen to the recorded version?

If you listen to the recording though, he is on time. I think they've purposefully done it in that manner. Edit: I believe it's done to put you off your centre a bit, and it grabs your attention more. So your brain's competing against that off-feeling drum pattern and his slow poetic style of singing/talken poem.
