Mount Pleasant is a designated micropolitan area and the county seat for Titus County in Northeast Texas. The city is an hour & 45 minutes to Downtown Dallas and is on Interstate 30.
While its 2019 population is 16,400 (with a 5-year projection increase to almost 17,000), the City’s retail trade area population is in excess of 107,000. Mount Pleasant is the retail hub for the surrounding communities. The Mount Pleasant Country Club boasts an award-winning 18-hole golf course, foot golf course, pickle ball and tennis courts, pool, and club restaurant.
