Thank you for this upload. I’m having my ashes scattered on top of Snowdon. And they’re only allowed to take the train down, not up. I can still be stubborn even deceased. Great upload, cheers 👏🏻🏴

You shouldn't worry about the trains being blown off the rack has gripping flanges that the engines and crarriages hook onto to stop them being blown off. The issue with high winds is it causes the train to be blown against this gripper and grind all the way down, which can damage the train and the rails.

Cheers for watching! I use 2 GoPros and my main one is a canon 7d mark 2. The canon hasn’t got a flip out screen so theres better ones to get for vloggers these days 👌🏻
I feel the train should be scrapped. To many people spoil the landscape on Snowdon and shutting down the train would stop a hell of a lot of people from reaching the top.
@@eeksta27 The summit of Snowdon is being ruined by far too many people going up there. If they stopped the train it would probably cut out about 50% of the people ever reaching the top.
It's been there for more than a century. I think the issue's more that they've massively incrased their fleet of rollingstock. If the number of trains daily were limited it could be made more sustainable.
