Mountain Biking from the North Sea to the Atlantic Ocean across the extraordinarily beautiful Highlands of Northern Scotland in late August. Heather growing everywhere on mountain slopes. We started our challenge in Aberdeen on the east coast on the North Sea up through Cairngorms National Park across hills and mountains, single track and double, bog, river beds, glacier valleys, rock, root, sand and shrub, and some connecting roads, in sun and rain, to the most western point on the mainland of Britain; Ardnamurchan Point on the Atlantic Ocean. We rode about 9 hours a day over 6 days and traversed approximately 380 km.
