The year my Dad died I took his tackle box and went fishing. He made his own lures. I lost one while fishing and it broke my heart. I went a year later to that same spot, I guess God decided I needed it back. I caught it with my hook! I was soooo excited! I treasure every one of them now!
The wolf howling, and Eric grabbing on to the fish just as it was about to fall back, were my favourite parts of this video! It’s great Arielle managed to capture that moment on camera - her relieved laugh after says it all!
I think you two are getting "hardier" if that's even possible. This is the first video of yours where I have thought "I just couldn't", and I haven't missed a video in 3-4 years. When you were fishing and Ariels hair was all frozen you both looked so happy. Man oh man, all I can think is that you two are actually getting tougher. ♥
I watch you guys and it reminds me of my Dad who passed in 2020. He was stationed in Nome during his Army days back in the early 1950"s. He loved being there and had many stories. My wife and I visited Alaska for the first time in 2022. I saw the beauty in his stories come alive. Thank you for your glorious videos depicting the majestic landscape that is Alaska!
When I heard those wolves howling, I got chills. Was wondering how the boys were reacting to the sound. That place is epic, nestled in among the mountains. Thank you for taking us along! Happy New Year! ❤🎉❤
Happy New Year to you both and thank you for all the amazing content you post. You're living a life I could never even dream of here in semi rural Shropshire England and I love to experience it vicariously through your videos. Keep up the great work 👍
I am like a little kid getting ready for bed when your videos are ending! ‘No! Just five more minutes!’ 🤣 Such an amazing video! So beautiful and exciting! I loved Eric’s big fish event! Thanks for bringing us along on your epic adventures! ❤️
@@o.l1407”YES” 😁 I do exactly the same, how long do I have them for and definitely thumbs up before watching, I even get a little sad if it’s less than 30mins.❤
Your video editing and content continues to be the standard in todays RU-vid world. I see many other pages who follow you, attempt to copy your excellence. That speaks volumes about your hard work and wonderful stories you share. Uncompremised, honest, real and refreshing.
I just sent an emaill to family and friends about your channel. Copied and paste this video link for them to enjoy and hopefully watch and subscribe. Have a Happy and Wonderful New Year.
These videos are powerful- the sense of smell , the excitement in fishing , the awe of being a part of such wildness with the sense of sound, the visual of such immenseness in terrain, and oh the sense of taste I never want them to end❤️❤️❤️
Epic! This adventure had it all: drama with dog sleigh so close to the edge... driving skills going up the hill... breathtaking geographic views... amazing colours palette of the sky... beautiful wildlife... undercurrent of horror films wih wolfs howling, frozen half eaten animal and bloody snow... more drama with Eric's dive over the fishing hole... unusual culinary combinations... A real firework of sensations to celebrate the new year. Thank you so much Eric and Ariel for another inspiring year experiencing Alaska. Best wishes of happiness, health and success in 2024. Claudine xxxx

@ledawnhudson8660 I love fishing and it's always nice on my days at the homestead to be able to experience these guys as future crusaders of life and the "Ever-More!"
I loved the wolf howling! It's something most of us city dwellers will never hear. You guys are awesome! Thanks for taking us along on your journey! 🥰❤✌
Hello, besties! Hope you’re having a good New Year, so far. Your video production just keeps getting better. I love y’all’s adventures to the “loaner” cabins. Time to sit back and enjoy the amazing scenery with you two beautiful souls. ❤
What an excellent video! Beautiful Alaska! Epic Alaska Views… caribou… wolf howling… ice fishing! Eric and Arielle never disappoint! AMAZING! They never disappoint with their fantastic cooking! 💞💞💞
The shot of that mountain bathed in pink sunlight was amazing. Calendar-worthy. I'm so glad that you take the time to video the little things like ice and frost formations. These are the kinds of things one would see if they were there and had time to really look around.
Wow! I've been subscribed since....a number of years, and this is one of my favorite videos you've put up. You guys are getting really good at this thing! The drone shots really add another layer! What a trip...awesome little cabin and locale, stunning scenery, wolves howling, caribou all around and a fish dinner and other cooking that has made me very hungry! Documentary quality...really. Ya'll should be proud of yourselves!
Your adventures are truly epic. The backcountry scenery, the pink skies behind the snow covered mountains-there are no words to describe the beauty. Thanks for taking us along, sharing your fishing, cooking and living life in Alaska as it happens. You're two amazing people. Fantastic video! ❤

Hi from Northern Ireland. Another great video. The minute the wolves started, my German shepherd sat right up, ears alert and lots of German shepherd head tilting. We both loved it.
I cannot believe that the number of people that view yours station in the three hours since it was posted have 55,000 views that is wonderful that just goes to say how good you guys are making all of us travel with you through your life journey keep up keeping up❤🎉❤ Now it’s 57,000 I AM SO VERY GLAD FOR YOU BOTH THE WAY LIFE IS FOR BOTH OF YOU AND THE BOYS
My shed is 10x14 . When I purchased it though I could live in it if necessary . Waldens Henry David Thoreau's Cabin was 10x 16 . You are adventurous . Thumbs Up !
I'm okay watching you guys working around the house, the chicken coop, and building stuff. However, these cabin adventures take things to another level, that is really a spectacular showcase of the Alaskan wilderness. It's great to be able to tag along. I have a box of those butter cookies you showed, and they're the best. I always enjoy the good cooking, and simple living.
i was so worried you two fishing at night with those wolves around!!!!!!!!!!!!! good you did not go... i had goose bumps all over with their howling, what formidable creatures they are! And i wanted to tell you, that the spontaneous, an fresh and clean way that you enjoy all you do is what i love the most about your channel. Soooooooooooooo authentic, so beautiful and soul lifting you two are!!!
Hair raising moment when those wolves started howling. Amazing. My little Sheltie sat straight up out of a sound sleep when they started in. You two sure are adventurers. Thanks for sharing.
This episode definitely had me smiling in excitement the whole time! Eric diving in for the trout made my heart speed up lol! I literally yelled out “what a save!!!” lol.
Love the nature shots and you guys, of course. Wow, that would be spooky for the first time. I'm used to Coyote, with their rips like they are having a party.
Wow!! Loved this one. It’s so hard to find a channel on RU-vid that is two people being their authentic selves. No gimmicks or fake attitudes, and no fake positivity. You’re just naturally positive! We love you guys! Happy new year!
Thank you for taking us along on your public use cabin adventure! The Bowser Boys looked comfy, hanging out. The meals made me salivate, simple, yet delish looking. The caribou was probably the reason the wolves were celebrating that night. And yes, you almost lost that Lake Trout...lol 😂😅 Love ya'll ❤️
its people just like yall that make public remote cabins so special. yall leave it better then when ya arrived. We teach our kids this respect for the next. its awesome when every one does it .and the food yall make omg delicious. yes ya aunt y is on point those are special lemons so rad. what a great time yall and thank you
Awesome photography as usual. What impresses me most about your channel is that you are not always pushing products like so many channels are doing, keep what you are doing and don’t sell out just for more revenue.
What a beautiful trip to end your year! Hoping your new year is even better!! Thanks for sharing!! The wolves is like a once in a lifetime experience to hear them howl that much! Amazing!!❤
The scenery always takes my breath away!! You guys are always having so many adventures, I am going to admit that I am living vicariously through your videos! 💚
What a wonderful adventure! Loved the wolves howling! ❤. Beautiful country, incredible fish, what a fantastic way to start 2024. Thank you again for taking us with you. ❤ To all. Lori from Oregon. Happy 2024 to you all, you've found the perfect way to live.
The landscape you travel is breathtaking. It is no wonder you love your Alaska life so much. The wolves are a little much for me but watching the caribou run and your fishing expedition was worth it.
Happy New Year to you and the pups, kitty and the most spoiled chicken in the world! This was an amazing video and adventure, Thanks for that. I am glad you enjoy all the work it takes to be comfy up in Alaska, it allows the rest of us to watch the „rough“ life from the arm chair!

Happy New Year. It brought my wife and me immense joy to watch your excursion in the heart of the charm and tranquility of Alaska. You have successfully captured the breathtaking, captivating, and untamed wilderness. I have to admit that we watched your video three times. That fish was absolutely beautiful. Seeing the wolves and other wild life was something else. I love traveling through the lens of your camera. Happy new year.
I'm watching this video for the second time...8 months later. It's just as good. I follow you guys from Tsukuba city Japan. You guys are the gourmets of woodsmen the food that you make on your trips looks so good. I can practically taste it and the scenery is breath taking.
OUTSTANDING! Wolf Howling, the scenery, the drone shots, the outhouse view, the fishing, your version of trail food, the pups ... What a year ending! What a year of content! Happy New Year folks! What magnificent scenery! How blessed you are to experience all this. God is great, to maintain and preserve this part of his creation so that we may honour and worship Him!
You always do such a wonderful job filming the landscapes around you. This one was one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. And then all those wolves howling was enough to make the hair stand up but beautiful in it's way too. Thanks so much for taking us along on your amazing journey. Have a Wonderful year.
