Stunning scenic shots and web necklace, I could smell that coffee! This has bought back many memories of my hikes in the BM but I preferred the magic of the valleys for my overnight hikes ... did the ridges on day walks.

There is a place i once knew that is recognised by only one thing, its the worlds second biggest canyon. In Australia. I have no idea what it was called. It was a stunning hole to camp in. Roos plenty. I mention it because this seems like the place to. After finding your channel i feel like i found a new friend, it takes a real freak of nature to be a mate of mine, lucky you. And yes, we will never meet and sadly il never sit by a campfire and banta with you but your a cool bloke, real genuine. I just bought my first hiking pack from being inspired by you. Its a carribee pulse and i have no idea how to use it but its exciting, thinking that i could go to these places and do these things. Your videos are beautiful. Jurassic park. The beginning of earth. We are bearly out of the woods as a species and you make me want to go back into the woods.... haha yeah. Its sad i have no friends, just my woman and son but now you are my magic internet friend, you dont needa do nuffin. Its just comforting to have. I got a new pair of work boots too..., puma. Not sure if they were a good decision but its all i could get for my giant size feet. I have a intellectual learning disability so i live on a pension, i have huge suicidal issues but your making it better with your friendly nature... its amazing iv made it this far at all. I just quit smoking, vaping, bongin, and im riding my mountain bike daily now. I have huge financial debt but im tackling it head on and facing my fears. Its the words you speak i find so inspiring. Iv allways been alone and never thought others think the way i do. I have dreams... dreams of the places you go. I dream i take a 4 hour bus to the airport and fly to canberra to catch another coach bus to snowys. I have not seen the snow since i was 6. It would be a peaceful way to disappear and never return. I like the wax paper you put your foods in, i want to get some. Tonight il try not vom up my beer. Anyway.. thankyou for another adventure. Peace ✌️ 😢

Hey mate, you are definitely not along in the way you think and feel. Just know that, without needing to see proof. Convince yourself in the fact that there are more people like you than there are not. I know it’s hard to believe sometimes but it’s true. I’m happy to hear you’ve quite the smokes and are getting out on the bike so often, you HAVE to keep that up. Definitely use that pack to get out into the bush, I think it will really light a spark within you and change your perspective and your life in the long run. You won’t regret it. Just start easy. Campgrounds. Day walks then back to the campground. Then expand from that, you don’t need to go far from a fire trail or a hiking trail to feel a million miles from everything and everyone. That’s what I do a lot of the time. Enjoy the peace out there mate. I wish you all the best 🙏 Mattsy

I'm so geed up to get out there after seeing this man, another amazing production. I've almost got the gear I need to head out into the wilderness for the first time in a very long time. Totally understand why you were bummed out at the start and good call on ditching the drone, totally makes sense. Lighter and further, less to worry about. I've only got the alton 3x3 for shelter, not a free standing bivy/tent bit worried about how to pitch it if I found myself in a similar spot to you in sandstone country, gotta practice some different formats I guess!

Mate I can't say enough good things about this vid! Still get a buzz every time I hear that song. The narrative at times bordered on poetic, the focus on the landscape, chilled out vibe, production. It's like "im here in this landscape, lets see what happens?" Incredible man. And then it emerges from the fog behind you while your cleaning the old camp. You know how to shoot, but this was nuther level.👍👍👍👍 ps. The machete talk cracked me up

Ah man, honestly thank you. Epic place. Epic views. Such a dangerous place too for the inexperienced. Such treks are beyond my physical capabilities. I wish I had taken an interest in Bushcraft & hiking at a younger age, when I had more energy and a better level of fitness. I'm with you on the driverless cars. I drive for a living as well and the things I see every day just amaze me. How some folk keep their license is beyond me. Great views at the top of the cliffs, but I'd be keen to see the bottom of the valley too. Thanks for another great video.

"Pick your thumbnail" - "This is some Jaruassic Park stuff" - "Get the can out of there .. disturbing the peace" Those little quotes summed up those epic views best. That stubby holder trick is a good idea. I mostly drink one warm VB stubby that has heated up over the day haha I need to get onto cans. Great video and what a trip with views.

yep freeze your cans the night before and wet the stubby holder that way the evaporating water cools the drink stubby holders are meant to be saturated on hot days for a longer lasting cood drink

@@sprintershepherd4359 Thanks for the tip. I just got back from the mountains and resorted to cooling my stout down in the creek! But this seems like another way.

@@sprintershepherd4359 Yeah It's bloody freezing haha had a cup of water frozen solid outside my tent the other night. At this point in Vicco it's almost worth switching from beer to whisky just to warm the blood a bit more

New Subscriber. I had a nervous time watching this because you stayed by the edge. I was so nervous for you that my legs hurt. I have a primal fear of heights, even standing on a 6 ft ladder. Loved the video though and those views were unimaginable.

One of the great technological travesties these days is that cameras can't replicate what the eyes can see, it's stunning at 4k but I bet that's nothing on seeing it first hand.

Classic digger. On the cans and sprouting shit. 😂 Great spot for it, Mt Hay looking east over the Grose river, with Lockleys Pylon in the background. Well done brother, you've made me jealous, so now I'm going to have to drag the boys out there to do this myself.

G’day Glen, Certainly can’t! It’s a pretty good tent, especially for the price. Just out of Anaconda. Easy to setup and pack up. Only downside is that it’s not freestanding. I do like it though. 👌 Will do. Thanks for watching, mate. 👍
