That old time Stanley Brothers tune "Mountain Dew". This is really one of my favorite songs with timeless harmonies and an old school bluegrass picking feel to it. Get ready to play a lot of alternating pick strokes on single strings on this one!

I find your channel 3 days ago, i was looking for discover but also learning bluegrass and i watch your deep river blues video.. i subscribe immediately you are a gold mine. You are easy to follow and to understand, i also appreciate the tab on screen this help a lot. Great instructional video but Carter Stanley did not flatpick that break nor did he flatpick at all, Carter played rhythm guitar with a finger pick and thumbtack arrangement and never played lead on any albums. The Guitarist who played lead guitar with them for this song was Bill Napier who also played mandolin with them on and off.
