Excellent vlog. You captured it so well., I was born in Uganda but never went to see the Gorillas. My loss. See how babies are riding on mother's back. All Ugandan women also carry babies on their back. I hope you noticed that.

Uganda is so underrated in in the region when it comes to Tourism however it is so reach in biodiversity , and relatively cheaper in terms of costs, i just wish you guys an adventurous trip

Hi Sarah, it was really experience of a lifetime ! Even we had to wait for an year but really glad to make it this year!! Do hope you are able to visit and experience Gorilla Trekking soon. The authority is taking all the precautions they can to maintain safety around which was great to see. Plan it whenever you feel safe and travel options from your respective country is open :)

Just finished the trip. It was VERY difficult. 8 km of climbing 4 mountains to get to the gorillas. An absolute nightmare. Please bring salt and sugar and water.

Thank you for a wonderful video. I’m a new subscriber. I was interested because I just watched the film from 1988 “ Gorillas in the mist” about Dian Fosse. I was interested in witnessing Gorillas in Uganda rather than Rwanda but it looks basically the same. Thank you again from the Southeastern USA.

Thank you for posting. You have captured the moments greatly. I am thinking of doing this in Feb 2022 but not sure whether I can manage the trekking? Any advice or recommendations? Seems very strenuous and difficult.

Hi Reuben, thank you!! Yes the hike was tedious but think definitely is doable. There is no hurry and the guide is super co-operative. Additionally with porter services it becomes easier. I am sure you would make it. All the best!! :)

How many hours did you hike before seeing the gorillas and what level of fitness were both of you? I want to do this next year

Almost 2-3 hrs. It depends some people also took 6-7 hrs to track the gorilla's. Believe we are just fit to basic. The trek is difficult but do-able🤝

Actually it was a beautiful part of the video. It made its authenticity showing joyful children in a rural village in Uganda. It was a short few seconds but a wonderful beginning of a fascinating video showing a country most Americans such as myself will never get the opportunity to see in person.
