Harbour freight 12 ton press. It is handy to have, when needed. You can get most machine shops to cheaply press a bushing for you, if you do not have a press. I do not notice any more road noise. The road feel is increased.... Which is the point, I guess
Stock suspension. I did install the MPP rear subframe solid mount kit. The stock suspension is a little high but well tuned for the car. I can keep up with Cayman S at autocross events.
I don't see the sway bar link connected to the lower control arm so I wonder why we have to take that off. Also, what's the black cylinder looks like some kind of a filter for?
It just makes everything go together easier. The instructions recommend disconnecting.....I tried with it attached and ultimately followed the MPP instructions.
Was this squeaking before you changed it? Right now I have a model 3 which I suspect the toe links are squeaking. I want to get it replaced but I want to make sure it's the toe links.
I changed the bushing in order to get more (better) steering feedback. I did not have any squeaking. Always remember to preload the suspension before tightening anything down. I have had that cause squeaking in the past.
