Pleas give a warm welcome to our Brand New show!
Towering above the Alps, Mont Blanc is a spectacular natural beauty. But it also has a darker, lethal side that attracts thrill seekers, extreme skiers and obsessed climbers from all over the world. They throw themselves against the mountain’s steep slopes, treacherous glaciers and vertiginous cliffs in a bid to conquer this most formidable natural challenge. When they fail, the consequences can be deadly. The only thing standing between them and certain death is the helicopter rescue squad of the PGHM (Peloton de Gendarmerie de Haute Montagne); an elite Alpine force trained for the world’s deadliest peaks. We ride along with the men and women who confront avalanches, blinding snowstorms, high winds, rockslides and sub-zero temperatures to rescue those who have fallen victim to the elements. Mountain Rescue delivers an experience that puts viewers on the top of the world and keeps them on the edge of their seats.

Well, prime skiing and paraskiing for this mountain is only a few weeks. Due to global warming, the time allowing these people during the "safest" time of the year shortens even more. I think they've had to cut down the legal safe time to 3 weeks? You've got risk-seekers to keep watch of and also filming crews for various movies amd documentaries. So yeah, I can fully believe this all happens at the same time because there are so many people on the mountain during this very short period of "safety"

It happened in Anapurna in 2019. Nimsdai, with the help of a Serpa, rescued a Chinese climber. The helicopter picked up Nims and the climber and they let the Serpa in the mountain. The insurance didn't cover the Serpa. Serpa was not in the condition to climb down to base camp, he was alive but exhausted from the rescue.

Imagine if the guy with severe head trauma didn't have his helmet on!!! Even though we can see blood, he's lucky to be alive. I think......... The helmet overall, did its job. The impact would have killed him instantly without it. Keep making these videos. I'll learn more about foolish people and the angels that want to go and rescue them. if the snow outside my window is a foot, maybe two feet high, I'm not going out that day so this much snow is my worst nightmare and I'm very claustrophobic so I'd probably be in a state of panic if I fell into that narrow crevase. Oh lordy, stuff of my nightmares for real. I don't even go into elevators unless I absolutely have too. Claustrophobia is my worst nightmare.

lol wtf is this comment, literally this episode is about them rescuing his partner who fell off the face they were climbing. Like saying someone who climbs a mountain, has an accident loses their equipment and cant get down safely is stupid because they weren't prepared to climb the mountain? Like do you think he should solo descend, even if he still has suitable gear to do that with, that's just about the stupidest thing and most dangerous thing you can do, won't be anyone to call mountain rescue when he falls to the bottom like his friend.
@trumpemendous2330
