We stayed in Strebske Pleso and walked around that lake. It was warm when sunny (in August) but was freezing cold 30 min later when clouds came. The day we went up the mountain was about +7 in summer! The lake is really beautiful though
It's amazing how quickly the weather can change!? 🤯 We found it absolutely freezing up there 🥶 but beautiful all the same! We wanted to walk around the lake but just couldn't do it with the freezing temperatures 😯

I'm just a random Slovak person passing by and You took a bus from Bratislava to Poprad?? I didn't even know that's possible haha...and I used to frequent the route as I'm from a town close to Poprad and went to university in Bratislava for 6 years. By a train.
Haha yes! Marek is really good at finding the best (cheapest) buses, trains, pretty much any transport to whatever destination we decide on 😅 We found buses were generally cheaper that trains although train rides are definitely more comfortable
