This is a step-by-step guide on how to mount CIOKS DC10 power supply or any other from CIOKS professional range under a Pedaltrain classic or novo pedalboard.
As two others have commented, the sizes are wrong in this video - it's 5mm hole for higher feet to rivet, it's 4mm hole for PZ-2 screw holes for mounting bracket.
it would be a great feature to add a 230V power through ouput to be able to link one of the many pedalboard amps to it as well. then it would be a complete package deal! please correct me if such a thing exists already
Unfortunately my DC10 (version 1?) neither has the hole for the distance piece nor has my Pedaltrain classic 2 the little overhanging edge to put on the DC10. I even bought the special MB18L mounting kit for the extra screws, but still can't mount my old DC10 to my Pedaltrain board. What do you suggest?
Is it ok to use aluminium with steel rod rivets, or do they need to be entirely aluminium? Can only find 4.8mm x 25.5mm rivet in aluminium/steel, not just aluminium
No, the DC10 link comes with all the hardware needed to install it under the pedaltrain boards and the bracket is not needed and therefore not included.
I'm sure someone else has said this. Why doesn't a market leading company like Pedaltrain simply create holes and standards, and share the standard with the PS makers? Is this not an obvious no-brainer? No other companies make people engineer things, measure distances, drill holes... what a waste of time. C'mon guys! It's like Marshall having people drill holes where to put tubes... this makes absolutely no sense.
Great power supply with primitive cave man installation. Drilling into a shallow aluminium base with no thread is asking for trouble. You may as well get the rivet gun out. But if you need to remove the supply at a gig you better have a drill handy ...
