I have de DC7 and I'm pretty happy with it. But I wonder whether it would fit in a nano+ the way the DC5 does. I hope it does, can you please confirm? Very useful videos by the way. Thanks!
I just received a Dc5 version 1.2 and have the template for version 1.1. I went to your site as suggested and can not find an updated “downloadable” template anywhere.
@@stephanbijl8628 I fixed it by cutting out a piece of paper the size of the template, putting it over the screwholes in the DC5 and puncture the holes through the paper with a pencil. Then i taped the paper on the original template to make it more firm and drilled the holes in the board. Easy fix. Good luck!
The 1.1 template fits the 1.2 dc5 screw holes. At least mine does. Punch through the holes of the 1.1 template and place it over the 1.2 to see if they line up.
Two questions: 1) Why do you supply 2 screws when there are 4 holes? I can't believe the damn screw is that expensive to supply 4 of them. 2) Where I can find this drill guides? There's no link on the official page, and google gives a link to 404 page.
You'll only need 2 screws. If you use 4 of them, two of them will be to close to the edge of the board. He explains it at 2:40. I dont' know why he then procedes to place the screw so close to the edge. Slightly misleading. There is no 1.2 drill template, the 1.1 works fine for the 1.2 unit. Punch through the template holes and place the template over the unit and you'll most likely see that they lineup with the screw holes. I'm just answering to your comment because i was asking myself exactly the same questions.
