The following video depicts the mounting of my 100kg Peddinghaus, the newest addition to the shop.
This is my favorite mounting method, and is therefor superior to all other methods. If you take issue with the preceding statement, you can take it up with my lawyer:

this man needs more recognition, I'm hoping to become a blacksmith one day, and I've actually found a class that ill be starting in about a month or so! videos like these give me a lot of hope and excitement for my future!

Thanks Dave! I should hope it’ll last longer than I do, it was a pain to get the log in the ground. Literally.

everytime I got to do physical labor like what you did with the anvil and blocking to get it on the stump I think of the Egyptians building the pyramids

new one is a beauty. the old one was too
