Looks really good. Great job, but I would cut the tow plates off, bevel them and run multiple welds on them. The thick metal tow plates are made from is to thick for the single pass of the mig or even an arc welder. Bumper looks awesome.
My stock bumper on my 09 Cummins was in wreck. Having the insurance company write me a check and I'm buying the front and rear MOVE kits. This video helps simplify it. Thank you
Boss Bob @Makingstuff you do a quick work awesome, super cool, super nice, perfect and gorgeous, boss I have 2006 Nissan Xterra off-road, problem is I don’t know how to weld
Bumper looks great! Excellent video. I bought a DV8 bumper and I don’t like it. The 4 led lights point at an angle. They should b straight ahead so u can see but it shows the side of the road on the left side and the next lane on ur right. How idiotic!!! They would let me return it either when I figured this issue out. Ugh another company not standing behind their product.
Great video. I bought a full grill cover bumper from Move, I've never welded before i have i mig 140 welder. Should i attempt to do this myself or should i pay someone else to do it for me any tips. Subscribed to your channel btw. Thanks for the video.
Nice job and it looks great. Is that huge MOVE logo cut into the front optional or mandatory? I like the bumper, but really don't like being forced to advertise for stuff I'm paying for.
Hey there! As Bob said, we do have an option to shrink and move the bumper. Some customers even choose to fill in the logo during the fabrication process. Check out the site for more info!
hey im looking to also get my first welder for this, what would you recommend? im also looking to get one because i will be learning this coming semester and i'd like to do this also as a learning project
Looks great, but what did you do for the inner fender skirts? did you shorten them or re attach them to a different location because they usually attach to the bumper where it curls around to the wheel opening.
You must have fast forwarded over that part, lol. I shortened mine but did not reattach them to the bumper. Have had no issues with it flapping in the wind at highway speeds etc.
Great video. I too made my bumpers for front and rear. Really like that raptor liner. How much do you recommend to do the front and back bumpers ? 4 bottle or 6 bottles. Also how much primer did you need for both front and rear bumpers ? Thanks
How much raptor liner did it take to cover the bumper? I recently purchased a rear bumper from move and trying to figure it how much coating is needed. Thanks! Great video!
Nice job man! I'm thinking about doing one for my GMC Sierra and I want tondo the grill guard bumper. This turned out great..... curios how is your Berliner coating holding up? And how much was it? I can powder coat for 300.
It still looks like it did on day one. I'm really happy with how the bedliner turned out. The complete kit was around $150 and it had enough to do 2 bumpers with plenty left over. Here is a link to it. amzn.to/3hV8z0P
Hi friend. The video is awesome. Would you like to try our Boslla 4modes led headlight bulb? I have contacted you on ins. Hope to work with you, thanks.
I think this guy is talking about those light gauge Amazon bumpers that run about $600? Those are too flimsy to even be in the same conversation as a Move
Would last ten to fifteen years longer without the bedliner. Stuff chips and collects nasty stuff in a pocket behind the coating. Don't believe me. Look it up. Powder coating is about the same price without the... extra oxidation.
