There are many many symptoms that can be stress produced (the brain) and it's very helpful to know if what you're dealing with is produced by the brain and nervous system or by the body itself You can sign-up or learn more at my website below.

Which video did that for you? I have a few of Jim's videos that has the same effect for me. Wild stuff.

I really enjoy your videos. Would you do a video on hypervigilance and how to avoid constant scanning? My sensation is dizziness/disequilibrium, and it is always something I’m scanning for. Thank you for all your guidance!

Thanks Jim. Great video. Have you heard of Dr. Claire Weekes approach? It’s very similar to what you teach. More geared to anxiety

I read her books 50 years ago when I was in my 20s. They sure helped a lot and reduced my dependence on anti-anxiety drugs

@@ElaineKish Barry McDonough wrote a book called Dare, which teaches this. I am free from anxiety and I am using same techniques to be free from mind body syndrome

First time here, but familiar with tms and mind body science. I have trouble understanding the first part: how am I supposed to move through it if I can only manage a couple of 15-minute walks per day, with a bench break, and have to bring cushions with me so it’s not painful to sit. Even these short walks spike my back pain levels. How can I return to dancing, long walks, traveling, or simply being able to pick things up off the floor - if I get pain from short walks? I don’t want to attempt a 30 minute walk and then be miserable with pain afterwards. If someone here could help me understand, I would very much appreciate it. 😊

Great analogy. I’m familiar with the concept but this really made it easy to put in perspective.

Thanks for the video, my main symptom is constant shortness of breath for a few years now actually. Would you say just try to move through and accept your anxiety or do you suggest to adress the shortness of breath separately. Because according to my pshychosomatic therapist i have to adress my dysfunctional breathing pattern first. It’s confusing me somehow on what the best form of healing method is for me. Some say it’s all anxiety and just accept that and the shortness of breath will go away. But not everyone with anxiety has severe breathing pattern disorders like myself. I’m unable to breathe into the stomach anymore. It’s all chest from the moment i wake up to it go to sleep. Relaxed or not

Thanks Jim, your videos really help me. I wonder if you could offer some words of support for moving through tiredness/exhaustion? If I’m having a worse day I nap/take more rests as it feels like what my body needs, but still try to do a bit of gentle activity that feels manageable. Is it just about continuing to find this balance?

Hello Jim. When I sense into the body and let everything be I’m often tense and think it comes from emotionel stress. When I try to feel what I’m feeling I can only feel that I’m tense and I have very difficult with feeling what emotion is there.. I know it comes from trauma. What would you suggest to practise? To keep doing this practise in order to better feel what emotion is there? Or perhaps just sitting doing nothing and wait untill somethings comes up when it wants? Thanks.
