In my own personal experience, I'm from Ghana and I'll never advise using gcfns. Yes they're the biggest evaluation agency but they'll delay you BIG time. In the the end they'll give a report that says our education is not American standard, they did this to most of my friends. Better to use eres and transfer to any state you want afterwards.

Thank you so much Nanelle and Priscilla. I am from Cameroon and currently working as a BNS nurse. I have a worry, I had started with CGFNS precisely Certification Program. And here we have a CGFNS exam to take in our country after ATT and before NCLEX which the agency says will be taken in the US. I was planning to get verified with CGFNS and continue on my own because the agency's terms bounds you to 7yrs which I find ridiculous. So my worry is that you didn't mention about the CGFNS exam so I don't know if am on the right tract. Secondly, when you register with CGFNS, you have a year to have received your ATT and if you fail to get to this level you will have to pay to extend your CGFNS account for another 12 months. Our schools mixed up a lot of things and I am running out of time. I kind of feel discouraged especially given that NCLEX format will be changed in March 2023. Imagine the current NCLEX is very difficult and they are planning on making it worst. Once more thanks for the explanations😊

There is no cgfns exam before nclex. It is probably the agency that came up with its own filtering method.

Priscilla said it all, USA is so lengthy. I’ve being on it since 2019 and yet haven’t taken my Nclex cos there was a mixed up on my name in my fingerprint card which took a lot of time to correct. Actually she didn’t mentioned that part of fingerprint evaluation by Identogo but currently I’m working to immigrate to UK while waiting to write my Nclex.

Another benefit of the UK is you treat all patients, not just those with money and in the USA you are open to law suits. For example for every 100 physicians in the US there are 68 claims.

Yes, no age limits, the NCLEX in USA option is available but you must get in, write NCLEX and get out or else you will be deported

Age is not a problem but getting a visa to write the exam in other countries will be easier than getting a US visa

I am a practicing USRN by God's grace, don't apply for a USA visitors visa just to write NCLEX because the consular would deny you write a way, however, if you are lucky to be granted a B1, B2 visitors visa to the US, you could utilize that opportunity to sit for the NCLEX meaning that you should have been well prepared also have your documents evaluated and approved to pay for ATT (authorization to test) from Pearson VUE before traveling.

Nanelle that trick didn't work for me. After I took my nclex I was super nervous. I went online and tried registering again and it actually allowed me, meanwhile I passed my nclex first try.
