Comparing this to their first "Movie Intro Medley," you can really see the skill growth. They just keep getting better at refining and mastering their craft with every new video. It's fun and amazing to see/hear.
Out of the thousands and thousands of ads ive skipped or ignored, this piano ad made me watch the full 60 seconds while i was genuinly enjoying it l. I couldvr skipped after 5 seconds but it was so genius
The THX sound is actually scored for choir, everyone just picks a random starting note before sliding into proper position. Pixar is what impressed me the most.
@@tingkagol Actually, perfect pitch isn't required. It's possible this group all has it, but in general, you just need to hear what your final pitch should be a moment before you choose a random start. You'd need pitch memory, but you wouldn't need to hold it in mind for very long.
OMG, that last THX sound.... I felt this effect sound here is so much better than the original ones...gonna use it as test track for my home system in future... :)
I've watched 3 videos of these people and found 3 different InSomnia. What goes on? lol (I, too, wish they would follow me around singing this every time I enter a room)
Love it!! I laughed in glee at how she also pushed the screen closer near the end of THX, to add a visual dimension to the increasing intensity. Very nice. And the other woman is super cute, and I enjoyed her voice timbre.
the ladies: Alto & Music Director: Kang Soo-Kyung Soprano: Lim Soo-Yeon "Erika" (the tablet lady) the guys: Tenor: Kwon Young-Hoon Beatbox/Percussion: Jang Sang-In Bass: Kim Won-Jong
Exactly! In the first version, someone wrote that and the moment I saw the Pixar one, I thought of that comment. Its really nice of Maytree to listen to their audience and perform such difficult movie intro's
I was so impressed by the first video, was happy to see this one! SO glad you did THX, that was the one I really wanted to see how you would do it. Yall are AMAZING!!
In a cinema, there was always that moment right after the THX audio where everything went quiet except for the rustle of a snack bag, a throat-clearing cough or the whisper of someone's kid asking, "is it starting now?". Sometimes I enjoyed that more than the movie I sat through.
Marvel movies have the dullest music. Aside from Black Panther, Venom (cough Goransson is amazing cough), and that one main theme from Avengers everybody knows, it seems so bland.
@@billylardner Ahah lmao, the Avengers theme is one of the best movie themes of all time, the Ant-Man one is great, the Iron Man one too, Guardians of the Galaxy have an amazing theme...
@@billylardner Each of the characters' scores are pretty damn good tho. They introduce their corresponding character so well, that you don't even have to see them to know that they're involved. Take Dr Strange's theme for example, used in Wanda Vision's finale, setting us up for him, despite not even showing once in the show
