That was the one saving grace of the film, as it legit was emotional and well written and acted. I did like the George Clooney cameo at the end too, hilariously unexpected especially the “who TF is this?!” But unfortunately, it couldn’t save the film. Hated that they brought back Keaton just to kill him off, same with Supergirl. I can see why this film failed badly at the box office, the controversies with Miller didn’t help either

no matter Ezras problems in the real world, he really flexed his acting skills in the end scene with his mom, that scene hit all the feels!!!! makes me wish he didn't have these problems because scenes like that would make me want to see what movie he would do next.

@@dimasn1748 It was like Christian Bale screwing up Terminator 4 because of that video of him going nuts on camera and of course beating up his mother and sister. History repeats itself.

@@iamgar6age Bale went crazy on set of a movie that was secretly recorded, also some time afterward his mother and sister had him arrested claiming he assaulted the both of them at a hotel. Verbal or physical, either or, Bale denied it

Same here. It's a fun film. Not amazing, no where near as epic as Flashpoint, but the fact it ever got released is a miracle.

Originally it was supposed to be Kara and Keaton meeting Barry, then setting up Batgirl to be his apprentice. Then it was changed to Cavell SUperman, Wonder Woman meeting him to set up their next movies but when they finally settled on Gunn taking over, they went for the Clooney joke cameo to finish off the Snyder DCEU so he Gunn can create his version.

The DCEU had some curious various instalments and directions, I don't think the channel has covered Birds of Prey fabulous emancipation of one Harley Quin, Wonder Woman2 aka Wonder Woman 1984, Black Adam or An Shazam2 Fury of the Gods yet, many either like or dislikes these entries, your free to feel how you do about em, many expres that the DCEU movies hadn't really had a direction since Snyder left, now with Blue Beetle and Aquaman2 looking the universe is to reboot.

I agree no matter its faults and Ezras problems in life, I can separate the two and THIS was such fun movie to watch that I saw it 3x in the theaters!!!! I just wish they kept Supergirl man I really liked her!!!!!!

Between Superman III and Superman IV there was a Supergirl movie set in the same universe. That's the version that appeared alongside Christopher Reeve. Also there were plans for a Superman movie starring Nicholas Cage, they did some costume testing, but the movie was ultimately never made.
