Hello. I'm not a professional. So I bought this machine and then I would just make a small movie about how it works. There is always someone who does not like any things so there always will be someone to complain no matter what you do. But I'll show up the machine. Think many people enjoy seeing it before they possibly buy one.
You're supposed to melt the oil, put in the salt and when the oil is HOT and the salt is mixed in, THEN put in the popcorn. The instructions say to never, ever put kernels in a cold pot. That scratches the inside of the pot, makes it harder to clean, more likely to burn, makes more unpopped popcorn and wears out your popping machine faster. Just sayin' this so people who have this kind of popcorn machine know not to do it the way you did.

I posted this comment for other people who might do things they way you did. Which is the wrong way to treat your popcorn machine. Love mine, same machine. The top is magnetic and when raised will stick to the roof. Also pour from your scoop from the narrow side.Enjoy many many pops !
Hei,no you dont need cleaning after every batch. But It be some oil and cleaning is somtimes necesary. You can bay sope from same Company like my popcorn machine. This machine is big and god fore selling popcorn. I think you chould clean It after use. If you do It you will have a fantastic machine fore many many years!
+Daniel Baskin Hei. No I dont do because I bouth It from cdon.no and then It comes With European Power. And 2 years Garanti/warrenty. So only plug and play. But If you order this from USA then you have to change Power. Very good and cool machine this.
I bought a popper just like yours. It works great doesn't it? One thing I missed when reading the directions and discovered later was to raise the lid to the very top of the popcorn machine and a magnet will hold the lid wide open so you can have both hands free to add the oil and cornels. Then just pull the lid away from the magnet and it will go down and cover the popcorn kettle and you are ready to start popping.

Metall and its a profisonell machine fore sale and fore home. I bouth it because I love popcorn. Yes about what you Write me. This Lock or lid could be hold With a magnet. But I take it up and littel bit hard and then its stand there. I do it when I put butter and popcorn inside kettel or I Wash kettel. Somtimes Lock or lid fall Down. But enyway, Im happy With this machine. I bay popcorn from same Company and its GOD))))).
***** I am glad we both like our Skyline machines. A friend told me that 70 years ago her Grandmother would pop a big batch of popcorn every Sunday night. Instead of eating a regular evening meal, that popcorn would be the only thing they ate for that meal. The Grandmother thought it was healthy for everyone's stomach to have only popcorn Sunday night. Another You Tube clip said to get a small bowl of popcorn and pour milk over it and add sugar. He said, long ago, people used popcorn just like we eat cereal. I ordered a book from Amazon on many ways to serve popcorn. One said to make cookies and instead of adding nuts, add a few pieces of popcorn, before baking the cookies. Those were called popcorn cookies. I think having this popper is going to fun, especially with all the recipes that they have come up with.

I eat exstreamly mutch popcorn fore many years. Take a big break and begin agein. Popcorn is healthy. You use this bags from Great Nothern Company With butter and popcorn in same pack?. I bay this pack. I pop 5oz alone. I look at them web side but If I order I moust pay exstreamly mutch fore delivery and therfore I can not do it. ***** At the present time, I am not using the prepackaged corn and oil packets. I did buy two packages of popcorn,,,,one was called "Theater Popcorn," the other is "Mushroom Popcorn." I bought some coconut oil to use with the two different popcorns. Go on line and look up "Just Poppin" that is where I got my two different popcorns and some small packages of Coconut oil mixed with a butter flavor. Have you ever used the Mushroom Popcorn? It pops larger and is sort of round. I don't know what is available in Norway, but If you can get some coconut oil designed to pop popcorn, I think you would really like the flavor. .

I try to order some Things but when I chould pay It was moore fore shipping than what I bay In Product so I dropp it. But I order this prepacked bags here home. I never taste mushrom popcorn. Only Natural With salt on. Here we have only natrual popcorn. Its a Nice machine. Quality is god. Im happy With this machine. I se that them have free shipping all over America but outside its mutch Money fore sending. But I can bay popcorn big kilo pack and use oil myself. I use popcorn With butter from the same Company! Its pack With corn+butter. Awsome taste. It be the same good popcorn like you bay In cinema or Tivoli. Really good.
