It looks pretty awful. I'm a huge German Shepherd fan (got one asleep about one foot from my foot - actually, he looks a LOT like the one in the film except mine is more tan than cream) and just finishing Orlean's great book. What I'd love to see is a realistic film about Rinty and Lee, not one where the dog becomes merely a fictional character in his own story. The real story is pretty incredible on its own.
Finding Rin tin tin was a aweful movie...not only was the acting bad..they turned this famous into a goofy..had they not turned this into a comedy it may have better..it was supposed to be a war movie..
this movie is so awful there is no twists, the acting is terrible and some of the most important parts of the movies are under a minute long. although i almost pissed my pants when he was flying the plane cause it was so fake. oh yeah and why did they did they call it finding rin tin tin they wernt looking for him and the first place he looked he found him
hey so this is out in the US? bc when i frist saw this and looked it yp iy was not going to be out in the US i just found it today on amzon i hope its the sme movie where did you rent it?
looks like a good flick. related stories include: "Kinship With All Life" by J Allen Boone (great story)and "The Spirit of Rin Tin Tin" by Alan Shields. Other great dog stories are "Merle's Door" by Ted Kerasote and "In the Shadow of a Rainbow" by Robert Franklin Leslie, a fantastic novel.
