HELPFUL TIP TO ADD-- YOU WANT TO RAISE THE LEG/FEET AREA OF THE HOSPITAL BED TOO. JUST PUSH THE BUTTON TO ELEVATE THE LEGS UP AND THEN IT WILL BE EVEN EASIER TO MOVE THE PATIENT.

Absolutely - I better watch it again because I thought it was in there... all of our other videos do.. Gotta use gravity - I agree and am so surprised that very few caregivers know how to do it. Thanks for watching... Brenda and I have over 50 years of actual bedside hospice care and are still working full time! We have lots of tips up our sleeves. Please consider going to our website to thank us for the FREE videos at www.thehospicecareplan.com and pick up our $5 booklet which will review how to manage ALL of the major symptoms that may arise. Care is treatment! Thanks again, Nancy

Ah, just learning about the slide sheet! As to mom pushing herself up the bed with bent knees, her feet slip on the sheet, even with rubbery-bottom socks. Hoping you may have a suggestion there.

What if I place a sheet over the bag, will it still cause sweating?
@TheHospiceCarePlan
@TheHospiceCarePlan 7 месяцев назад
As the reply below... a sheet may not be thick enough to prevent sweating and it definitely depends on the individual patient - some perspire a lot and others not so much. Individualize the patient's care. CARE IS TREATMENT - now go buy our $5 booklet and you will have all the answers to managment of the main symptoms for a patient in bed. Thanks again! Nancy
