The issue isn't so much immigration, but demography. If you have chronically low birth rates and mass immigration at the same time it stops being immigration and it becomes replacement. That's the issue. If Europe still had healthy birth rates the immigration we've seen would be less of a concern. It wouldn't be the existential threat that it is today.

I guess my grandchild is an existential threat to me because when I die it will replace me. Do you see how dumb and counterproductive your scaremongering frame is?

@@barthollevoet4018I again point out: You're the bombastic aggressor in the argumentation here. Culture has a value, and I don't respect the fact that you give it no merit, that European culture is under threat of devolving, and prejudices do not change - that threats to culture are a legitimate concern.

@@tiaretsnyheter6026 I'm sorry, was I talking to you? So far, you have only succeeded in pointing out your inability to make a case, instead resorting to trolling, parroting falsehoods and regurgitating racist rubbish. This video offers an opportunity to educate yourself beyond the limits of your hateful prejudice. Take it, or else refrain from polluting the debate with your stale drivel.

Mass Immigration puts a lot of pressure on housing.

Did you watch the interview and pay attention? There is no "mass immigration". Housing shortage is a separate issue that puts additional pressure on the already reduced shelter system's capacity: people approved for legal residence are forced to stay in refugee centers because they can't find anywhere else to live. Cluelessly parroting falsehoods like you do is just helping to perpetuate the housing problem.

Mass Immigration has greatly increased demand. The housing crisis will persist until migration is reduced. There are positive and negative effects of migration. It needs to be balanced.

@@barthollevoet4018I watched and paid attention. I think almost every soothing word the researcher said, was calculated to relativise and colour immigration as a great boon, and unwittingly painting the lower classes in Europe (including IMMIGRANTS), who see the real dark sides of immigration, as hapless ignoramuses. I paid very well attention, and I still see the professor as a biased part. Statistics do not speak for themselves, people with bias do the talking. He talks down Europe, in global stats. In Sweden where I live, 99% ethnically swedish neighbourhoods when my parents grew up, have majority populations who don't ever learn swedish, and may live off welfare and crime. The difference is not always a stat. The difference may just be, whether you have any care in the world, for a specific town. I wish Europe treated immigrants better, than handling them as a numbers game - like with a God complex. Ukraine is a vital emigration zone, with a population which integrates. Those who work with africans, know that it doesn't take racism to see the challenge in creating a culture for the future, together with large immigration flows from Africa, if integration remains a rosy unachieved ideal. I also noticed the aggression in your reply to a neutral observation on the housing market. I think that is a complex dynamic, in which immigration credits the rich propety owners, and debits the lower classes, including immigrants.

@@zomgoose Repeating a lie does not make it true. There is no "mass immigration" that could "increase" anything. Immigration has fluctuated in the past and the housing shortage did not change accordingly. This shows the housing shortage has different causes, that are, incidentally, addressed in the interview in this video you so obviously did not watch. Shelters overflowing are an effect of the housing shortage. Nothing is ever caused by its effect. This is plain logic. Get your facts and your head straight. Watch the interview. Pay attention. Stop repeating silly lies like a demented parrot.

@@barthollevoet4018 There is no mass immigration? A third of births in France are now of non-European origin. You can't even recognize entire European cities anymore. Some parts of Paris now looks like Lagos. It's disgusting.
