I've officially traded beaches for mountains! Which is good because I never took advantage of the beach. Don't tell, but the picture in the thumbnail isn't even from Florida; it's in Columbia. Anyway, I moved and read a couple of books very slowly but I still wanted to share this exciting time in my life!

This vlog was so good! Congrats on finishing your masters, and the move. I hope you, your partner and the cats are all ok - I can't imagine the logistics of moving such a long way! I didn't know about that read along as I bought assassins apprentice last year.

Congratulations on your move and finishing some books 📚 Moving is a wild time haha I only moved one and half hours across my state and my brain was so distracted for months by things like remembering where my forks were and learning to sleep in a new place

I love your new home! As you know Colorado is basically the polar (pun) opposite of Florida, I’m sure it’ll take adjustment (and coats, boots and sweaters) but it’s such a beautiful state. My sister has lived near Boulder for a decade and adores it, the photos she sends of hikes make me so jealous! Wishing you, your husband and cats so much joy in this next step of your journey!

It’s wonderful to see you so excited! The new place looks great and Colorado is wonderful. It makes sense that you couldn’t read after just moving. You aren’t settled yet, so your brain can’t focus like it normally would.

Did you immediately start envisioning where bookshelves would go when you saw the new place? I moved in 2019 & It was so stressful. I think you were too hard on yourself. Your poor brain is trying to cope with ten things at once. I couldn’t read at all during my move. Even audiobooks. Let your brain rest and adjust.
