Nothing is perfect, you guys did amazing one day at a time. Now that you are in the RV you will see what works and what doesn’t, and what you want to change or add. Good job and little momma is loving it.
Long time RV owner here. Most tank indicators don’t read correctly. You’ll know when the gray tank is full when sink/shower won’t drain. Black is same. We have found that doing a good flush/ fill /flush works well with black tank. Liquify is a great brand black tank chem.
Ontario girl here living and learning in my new 5th wheel. Agree that the indicators don't always work. I flush weekly, start with black them grey. Make sure to put in lots of water in the tank after you dump and follow it up with some liquid or powder cleaner/cleaner. I use TPX. Best of luck with it all. Lots of folks here to help.
man how silly is that! We just had our grey water full today and it's not a big deal but the black.... definitely would be nice to be able to keep an eye on that!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Get Everley use to a box fan it will help all 4 of my kids sleep with one running but if the camper air conditioner is running that will do the same thing
Yeah, it is, but right now, we have to run a generator until I can get all the equipment to run it off solar. In the meantime, we have a fan that we can charge, and it's like a box fan. That runs all night for her.
You shouldn't have to worry about antifreeze in your fresh tank or water heater. If it wad done correctly when you winterize it, both are bypassed. It's just the lines that get the pink antifreeze and it's also non toxic. Blowing out your lines for winterizing is an option, but as a fellow Canadian, I recommend using the antifreeze. Any trapped water can burst the plastic lines.
From what I hear, tank indicator lights often fail. Ours is hit and miss. We've just gotten to know when our tanks are getting full. One of the many challenges of trailer living🙂But it is worth every minute. I love your attitude! Always positive.
Thanks for the info. Good to know. I might try to fix it anyway. I think those wires are normally pretty small and fall apart easily, and that might be why they fail so often or just rust or something from being in moisture all the time.
If your not sure if the blackwater tank is full or not turn water off then use a flashlight to look down thru the toilet to see how full it is , i also do this when dumping my black tank to make sure the water is clear in the bottom of the tank , your grey water will stink just as bad as your black tank if you keep food from going down it will help
I know you’ll be much more comfortable in your own space. Video cut off. I’m guessing u ran out of propane. You’ll learn as u go. Love the trailer. Good room for baby girl to move about. And she’s almost walking!
Nice to be in your own place again! You will have a lot of content creation opportunities fixing up the RV. Now we have the race to fix it up before the mentioned 5 weeks until you have to move.
@@FnAVanLife She goes right for it, like she's been saving up some deep thoughts! And when Mom starts talking, she looks at her like she's being rude! I love it. ❤

Handy, Strong and Good Lookin'. LOL So that was a good line. But here's the best line... Alex: We're great communicators. Frank (what Alex heard): You suck. LMAO 🤣 Yes, there's always another day 😃
I get what they mean relationship ender for parking those things. We team truck drive and the first 3 months wasn’t easy cuz he would say one thing but I took it as the opposite then he would say no pull back up go this way turn the wheel this much that much but when u both drive it kinda hard to tell someone how to do it when u can’t see the mirrors from the inside. Finally after those few months we realized we each was sayin the opposite thing lol, I don’t remember what it was but it was about turning the wheel. I even back up wrong sometimes now when we aren’t hooked to a trailer. I’m a really wide swinger, it is work getting into tight spots especially a campground with more obstacles. One thing that can help instead of hand signals is phones. We call each other and have on speaker while backing up so much easier.,
pure sine wave generator. very little noise. less than a thousand for a 3300 watt. runs my 36 foot travel trailer and do not hear it in the trailer. the thousand is in Canadian dollars.

Communication is everything! It's so funny you were saying thing backwards from eachother. That's definitely happened to us, saying the same thing just so differently. All brains are different!! Lol glad you all figured it out! Sounds like you travel amazingly together now 🥰
I love the new trailer. Whose property are you parking on? Why do you have to move out in 5 weeks. That's a lot of work to have to re-pack and move again. Also, when you start traveling again will you travel in the new trailer or travel in your last trailer/van? I'm a new subscriber and love your videos.
Hey Patricia! Lots of questions!! We are leaving for an extended trip in the UK 🇬🇧 but we will pack up the trailer and move back in when we get back. The trailer is on the back of my sisters property so we don't have to worry about it while we are gone. Lots of moving parts in our lives right now!! Thanks for coming along for the adventure 😁❤️
@@FnAVanLife Thanks for responding. I feel a little more caught up on what's going on. I admire the fact that you love traveling. I myself, am a homebody and love being in familiar surroundings. I guess that goes along with being old.
Why didn't you have a pro do a thorough inspection before buying an expensive rig like that? Everything should be in perfect working order before you seal the deal!
I’m glad my wife didn’t marry me because of my ability as a handy man. Because my ability as a handy man is limited to screwing in a light bulb. Fortunately my ability was making great investments during my working years. So if something needs to be repaired, I just hire a handy man to fix it.
