Please be careful while you are rolling your logs up the metal ramp I worry it could slip and roll backwards and break your legs. Can u cut some large wedges to slip into the squares on the ramp to keep it from rolling? You’re doing a great job! 👍
Happy belated birthday I'm watching this episode at least 2 months old I'm watching you drag and roll those logs. Here's an idea cut the limbs flush to the log do not let them stick out otherwise they will dig into the ground and they will not move easily. Use a saw or the axe. There will be more manageable guaranteed. Other than that I'm rooting for you woman. And happy 4th of July as today is the 4th.
Happy Birthday i just found your channel and subbed to your channel. your doing awesome with the lumber. i have a 126 love sawing logs. take care and i be watching
I have moved some pretty big logs and found the best way was to go Roman.........cut a thin log say three or four inchs thick , then cut into whatever length you need , then space them out beside the log and roll it onto them , if they are clean as in de-limbed then anyone can pull the log as long as you have a clear path and somewhat even ground .
Hello Kiddo I agree with ericg1971 it's like same principles using PVC pipe to move. Steel beams on the job site . Give you so much props for getting it done .
all you need is a cant hook and a flat block take a axe and notch a divot in the center of the teeter totter square block take that block and roll your log on to it and this way you can turn the log one way or the other when it is squared up to the mill roll it over to the mill with the cant hook and voila your heavy job is now lighter! hope this helps!
3:37 Girl, I admire you greatly. But what happens if a log rolls down against you and you fall over with your legs in those slots? You would be trapped. Do you have the coverage to call for help if you're lying with a tree on your legs? But good for you for getting it done. Just for future notice - Don't be downhill of such a heavy item. Please. 🙏💝 Please work it from the other direction! And happy belated birthday! 🎉🎂🎈
