Awww such a bummer some stuff got water damage. Tricky narrowing down what you need for sure! Don’t forget your Altenew goodies for the workshop Saturday! Haha! I’m soooooo excited to see your temp space, meet you virtually and see the new space! ❤
I saw the firsts one, with the rain damage. And then I get to see this now!!! Thank you I was wondering how things were for you. Thank nyou for sharing and I am so glad you have an awesome friend. Thank you for sharing your disaster. And recovery! Blessings on you and yours and your business.. how fun!! To see your efforts and your changes.. You are awesome!
Friend! You know how I feel about this studio. I love it nonetheless. You and Sarah cracked me up and I thoroughly enjoyed strolling down memory lane and the recent purge/paring down what you need to keep out of the studio. But you know what, something even BETTER is gonna come from this experience and transition. I cannot wait to come back and see it all done and bring you some new grid art decoration! Hang in their friend, it’s time to LEAP into the next chapter! 🍊💙😘 P.S. I love all the help and support you’re getting in this journey. Mama was such a HUGE help!
Oh man the water damage is real fun. . .I grew up in a flood zone and we had situations like this often. I am sorry you had to say goodbye to some things, but it helped you reorganize and now you have a somewhat fresh slate.
I used Clutter to pack up my craft studio as well. It was so hard to try to figure out what I needed and could part with for a few months. They took my DreamBox as well and now I am two months in and have not crafted once. I am trying to figure out how/where to start, but this video is giving me LIFE. I see I am not alone. Keep crafting my Sista :)
Oh wow! I can't go very long with out crafting. I have been doing well with limited supplies so far and haven't bought anything yet. But it's only been a couple weeks - HA
Seriously nothing worse than water damage! Biggest nightmare!! Good luck with the renovation! It will be so nice when it’s done!! I just ordered your Living Well collab planner! Will you be doing any inspirational videos using that planner? Just curious as I’ve never used that planner before! Big hugs during all the Reno! So stressful!!❤❤
Hi Amy! Wow! To see you smile through all of this is so encouraging! A new creative Phoenix will rise from this. Creativity can happen wherever you are with whatever you have on hand. You have an amazing support system and a loving family. I look forward to seeing the new path you are led. ~ Creative Blessings & Hugs!
Thank you so much for your kind and wise words. Sometimes it isn’t easy to see the bright side but I certainly try when I can. Perspective and gratitude are guiding paths 💛💛💛
Hi Amy, I can’t believe I just stumbled upon your uTube channel but I’m glad I did. Your attitude is so positive through all of this… I’m excited to follow you and see all your amazing creativeness! Good luck to you during this temporary transition period. 😊
That’s unfortunate some stuff got ruined in the water damage situation. Hopefully you get to start over Amy and salvage what’s left. Good that there’s help and you got support during the transition to your new studio. Your creativity is beautiful 🌈
Just learning about this "adventure." Been out of some parts of the crafting world because I too became victim to storms this year. Mine technically started in Oct 2022, but the full court press began on New Year's Day. My crafting space and many other rooms are still under "renovation," but I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Sadly, I did some stress buying. Way more than I thought I would. Am only now starting to rein it in. Good luck! Hoping neither of us have to go through another unanticipated crafty move
Wishing you the best with the renovations, Amy! Your video came at a time that I needed it the most.Maybe someday I can talk about it publicly, but it seems like a bad time at the moment. Thank you for everything that you do. 🙏
How exciting! I’m in transition as well. Temporarily living with sister and have to move out by end of the month- affordable apartments are hard to come by in LA - especially a place that will allow dogs. Praying to find something otherwise I have to live in my car until I do. All my crafty goodness is in storage. I can’t wait to see your new set up and for myself to be able to create again. Thank you for sharing - there’s hope that I too will be in a good place too!
Sending you lots of good vibes that you land in a wonderful place for you and your pup soon! LA is so expensive, but hopefully you can find something within your budget. What side of town are you on? Cheers to HOPE!
@@amytangerine I work in Cerritos but rent here is ridiculous. I’m looking everywhere with 20 minutes because I have a senior dog who needs meds in the middle of the day. I’ll need to run home at lunch to make sure he gets them.
We are keeping it. I just didn't want to put it into a storage unit and move it off site. So it's in the storage room right off of the studio, but is inaccessible for the whole renovation.
@@amytangerine oh ok! I thought when you said you weren’t keeping it, I thought you meant getting rid of it all together. I’m still toying with the idea of getting one. I’m just stressed I’ll buy one and will get overwhelmed trying to make it fit my needs.
