I was feeling this when I moved to France from Canada 3 years ago and I was 40🥹. Left my comfy life and just left. Some thought it was crazy but I knew I needed a change otherwise I would have had a mental breakdown. Stayed in france, went to grad school there now I’m back in Toronto. And trust me I’m not one of those risk taker nor adventurous. So go for it and welcomes it. As the french would say “ il faut assumer les conséquences@! Im proud of you and us black women pushes boundaries !

Move is a four letter word for a reason lol. I despise the thought of uprooting myself to another environment, even though I love being in a new environment. Just the hassle of it can be stressful. One thing I can never throw away are books. I have such an emotional attachment to books, it’s so crazy lol. Moving does allow you to confront those things you’ve been meaning to do and putting off. It will definitely force you to Spring clean and get rid of those things that no longer serve you. Happy moving sis. 🤎✨

I'm going through the same process of going through my things for donation (found a company that collects clothes, shoes,toys,books for refugees, abuse survivor shelters and the homeless and anyone just in need really) and my mum, since I put them in recycling bags which are clear here, will see something and start taking things out again. So I need my mum to travel so I can properly declutter lol. I too have a sell box, but I end up giving stuff away or sadly throwing because I reckon even if I haven't opened them, the fact they've been there for yonks probably means they're expired lol. Tiffany you mentioned noise being problematic outside your apartment so I think you're moving to a quieter district maybe even bigger apartment in the same district, not leaving Paris.
