Moving to a warehouse Update 

Congratulations. We love seeing this as when we expanded our computer store we felt so much pride and excitement, and this video reminds us of what we went through. Started from our basement, went to a small 300 sq ft office room, went to a 900 sq ft office space, and so on until we were in a 2,500 sq ft / 2 floor office space with an additional 3 smaller locations in other parts of the country. Would love to see a video of your completion.

It's a lot of work but it's also fun to move up. Thanks for showing us everything, but make sure you have a great security system. Your videos have made micro soldering easy for me and I've not had to make the mistakes to learn which is extremely valuable. Thank you for what you do. I fixed my Chamberlain garage door opener that had a shorted capacitor. And I just fixed a three station remote control that has three remote units where you plug it into the wall and then a device into that and it had a burned out diode. I purchased the magnetic board holder from you and some other stuff, you got the order 100% correct so thank your dad and we need more quality businesses like yours in America.

Lot of work while making it hard to do core business. A place I do some work for is currently reorganising (rather than moving). Lot of hours cost go in to pay off in the longer term. Looks like you'll be set to handle your volumes with less stress and deal with expansion. Best wishes.

Congrats. You should consider installing a couple of 20 amp. circuits with gfci protection in the kitchen. Certain kitchen appliances have high wattage. Especially anything with a heating element.

That office relocation is a huge job, and I do not envy you the task! Hopefully you will be through with it very soon. But of course, there will be quite a bit of re-re-organisation as you find better locations for some stock, and perhaps relocation of some work-spaces. Keep as much as you can off of the floor - tp save your backs from unnecessary bending.

I think you need room for more technicians -- at least someone to do assembly/disassembly for you. Also, one bathroom would not be enough, so it's good you have two... Prudence, indeed, will dictate that bathrooms long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the bathrooms to which they are accustomed.

I would have kitted the new space out with shelving (even cheap movable rubbish) before moving, just to make it easier to organise. You have a lot of space, which will disappear quickly as you settle in and get the building to flow for your thriving business. Something to consider is physical security. For example if you don't intend to use the drive in bay, some anti vehicle barriers tight against the roller door to prevent someone from trying to ram their way in. I am unable to express to you in words how much I feel you and your family deserve success and happiness in this venture and in life i general. Your generosity sharing your knowledge is a true gift to us all.
