True! We did initially as it allowed us to not spend out on a new coffee machine right away, but long term it is not ideal. We had a converter in the kitchen, that allowed us to plug up to 4 things. Then one in the living room for other electrical items.
I can pack everything into boxes, trunks, and duffel bags myself. I have a good quote to get from an overseas port to a port in the U.S. But what has to be done to get the items out of a U.S. port? I think I have to hire a customs broker to do this.
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately I do not know the process if you do the process yourself but imagine you would need a broker, as you say, to facilitate the process. I am curious to know if you find out how to do it yourself and what the process is.
Hi guys I have a question for you please: have somebody checked your vaccinations before entry to US for your work visa please? I know that every country have some set of vacations which is mandatory and you getting them as a child, did anyone check this when you get your visa please? Thank you very much Rob
Hi 🙂, Up until the pandemic no we have never been checked for any vaccination or medical. However in order to get into the US during the travel ban between the UK and the US we had to use an App called Verifly which had recorded that we were covid free within 3 days of travelling to the US. Additionally at the moment they also check you got either a green card or and embassy exception at the airport before you board. We assume this will go once the ban is lifted but would imagine they're going to require proof of vaccination against covid.
