Moving to Australia during a pandemic - ghost airports!! 

It was VERY eerie. And in Japan everything turns off if you’re not using it so the lights and moving walkways turned on only when we got close

A lot of newer condo buildings in Colombia have corridor lights on similar sensors. The elevator opens to blackness. That is one level of weird….. but airports, the places which never sleep: bustling with flight crews, business travellers and holiday makers…it is just BIZARRE. It would be a great horror movie set - I wonder if any film or to productions have taken advantage of all of the underused airports and post secondaries this past year or so. Seeing how quiet Tokyo was also makes me wonder about how prepared they really are for the Olympics.

@@fromhgwaii That's such a great idea to film in an airport, I wonder if anyone has been doing it! About the Olympics, we were thinking the same thing! I can't believe they're going ahead with it to be honest.
