Moving to Denmark 🇩🇰 | pros, cons, experiences 

Thank you for your kindness. I feel the need for some comments. A salery of 70000 US yearly is not common. Even educated not fluent in Danish my guess is more likely 40.000 US. My work as a senior IT supporter pays off at best 72000 US/year before tax (after tax 46.690) but it is not a Copenhagen salery so lets add some let say the amount of 100000 US/year. I purchased my appartment near Copenhagen (Amager) in 1994 for the amount of 53000 USD. Sold it for the doubled in 1999. Today an appartments same floor same block is up for sale about 357000 USD. That appartment is only 63 sqm with 2½ room of living space. And this is not Copenhagen since it is 3.4 miles away from the center of the City. Purchasing this little appartment will set you off with a montly payoff about 2.084 USD/monthly before expensives like electic and gas. Ofcouse those lucky of benefit from inheritance living in the center of Copenhagen paying about the same as I living 24 miles doing south. It is possible to get an apartment in Copenhagen, I know students luckly enough but as a stranger you really need to sharm someone off :) Anyway - Copenhagen is well over priced even when taking into consideration that a car is not a necessity since good transport options. As moving in I would consider Ringsted, Holdbaek, Naestved, Aahus, Kolding or Aalborg. Nice Cities with good job opportunities or great transport options towards bigger cities. Ok There is a huge difference between The Kingdom of Denmark and Denmark when we talk about Denmark it is the Country Denmark we talk about When. we talk about The Kingdom we talk about The members Greenland Faroe Islands and Denmark

so many mistakes.. like marking kolding when saying copenhagen or that kartofler are caramalized potatoes. atleast you tried tho
