A guy that used to work in finance with us in the U.K. (25 years old)- applied to our new branch in Dubai and he got it. We never saw him again for around 3 years! And apparently was enjoying his new lifestyle out there. He finally came back to the U.K and bought his first house! (Let that sink in). Going back to the jobs aspect- it’s best if you’re in a specialist field

It is becoming very very expensive to stay in the UAE recently especially for those who dont have good passports like U.S. & U.K. The water and electricity bills have increased 3 times now and not to forget the rents. Education was always very very expensive. Being an Indian I feel very sad because it was my goal to settle in the UAE when I was studying.

Well, I assumed that the video is old now and the market changed a lot in UAE. Dubai is so much cheaper than London and Paris now.... The rent are cheap in Dubai. I mean, look at the size of the flats available on the market. Probably 2 or 3 times bigger than the one you can get in Paris or London for the same price. At the end it really depends on your salary. But at the same salary level, let's say 7K in London and 7K in Dubai, your quality of life will be much better in Dubai.

What about for Muslim women? I have a good job in Canada but want to work in a Muslim country because I feel they might respect the Muslim customs a bit more. Every time I have an interview here I have explain I don’t shake hands blah blah and all sorts of other stuff

i recommend petrol engineer it has a really good salary and they pay for your rent and pills and school if you have children and thats in abu dhabi not dubai
What I have noticed that people who are from EU,North American region,Singapore,Aus and NZ their pay package is very high as compared to people who are from India,Pak,Bangalore,Sri Lanka and other South East countries excluding Singapore Esp for Expat it’s very difficult because those people compare with complexion,white people dominate a lot even though they are from other countries
It appears that you need to be 'highly' skilled for example a doctor etc.. to really move. And if I am that highly skilled, why would I move then, that too in a country which is 50 years behind (mentality wise). The whole point should be I am making double the money than in my home country, right. Not really seeing the bright side.
I live here and it is true. With the tax they are introducing there is no point of moving to Dubai. They are planning a massive exodus in the next 5yrs so they try to make up for it in advance.
My sentiment exactly. UAE has infrastructure but processes and mentality is 100 years behind the western countries. That is what decieves the tourists. You would think it has evolved to be an open minded equality driven equal opportunity country. It's NOT!

I'm a local from the UAE, it's perfect for those people who just wants to spend. Dubai is very luxurious and Abu Dhabi is a hidden gem, lots of opportunities there.
UAE ... is going down hill .. many businesses are closing down every day.. rent and living cost is so high etc. about 70% of people in UAE jails are there for not paying of their loans for cars , apartments etc .. I love Dubai for stop over holidaying but nothing more

Hello! I am fortunate enough to have been offered a job in UAE. Although the pay is much lower than what I make now(only 55k USD) I will have an apartment, food, and car paid for. I think this is enough to offset the pay cut I am willing taking in order to live in Dubai essentially for free for a year. Does anyone think this will not be possible with such a low salary? The last time I was in Dubai was 2013, so I am unaware of the inflation that may have occurred since.
