Our little family of 5 just lees than 2 weeks away from moving to Oahu, Hawaii. After finding a place to live and signing our lease, the next step for us was to ship our car to the island. We had to be strategic to ensure that the vehicle arrived to the island approximately around the same time that we do. We chose Mobility Transport for the shipping our car to Hawaii. They coordinated for our car to be picked up from our home in Michigan, transported to the port in California and shipped to the port in Hawaii. We paid $2,950 which included insurance, trucking service, taxes, port fees and shipping. The entire process should take 2 weeks from the day they picked up the vehicle.
As of today, our car is officially on its voyage to the island. We'll update you on how the process went once we get to the island.
