Curious what bootcamp are you doing? I've been thinking alot the past month about wanting to take a gap year, the one thing holding me back is knowing that all my savings will disappear and Ill have nothing left. How do you reconcile with that? did you save quite a bit to be able to afford to travel and cover housing costs.
hey, i did this bootcamp: bit.ly/3nFVtaM & there will be vlogs to come! i save a lot, yes, and have done previous videos talking about how i manage my money (you can search them on my channel!). i reconcile spending all my savings with knowing that it's a worthwhile opportunity and i can promise you that if you really want to take a gap year and travel/explore/try new things, you won't regret spending the money!! ask yourself: will you regret not taking one in 10+ years' time?
by the way just looked at your videos. Langkawi? George town? Been to both of these, in fact GT I used to go many times a year when living in BKK years ago *(visa run) did you ever make it to the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia?

So I'm Portuguese and White, but Lisbon is not Portuguese anymore so I don't even know if I can answer this. I don't know if you are black or what but from what I see Portuguese people are ok with other races, racism does exist though just not in public. If this is your biggest concern you can come no problem.
