There is a +1200% oxygen golden tree seed in the ice cave where your new base is on one of the high ledges. You'll likely need to make a bridge with platforms and/or a staircase to reach it however.
Should do an ore crusher for each of the materials! One runs the dolomite, one bauxite, and one doing the uranite. Then they are always full with those set resource whenever needed rather than making sure is mining the correct ore you need
Don't worry about running out of stuff to crush, you won't be able to mine aluminum, iridium or uranium and instead you get to mine dolomite, bauxite and uraninite. Also, the teleporter is far away since you need to unlock the blueprint, get the power infrastructure (250+ power for one if I remember right) and find pulsar quartz (I only found little pulsar quartz and got to wait until I could make it, though I got few pulsar meteorites but it's late game)
the newly released patch came out stating there's going to be more zeolite, a new ship, more quartz, and star chests. So, I started a new playthrough and the zeolite definitely increased... hopefully, I will see more quartz soon.

Tips for people. 1.) skip the T1 biodome and use grass spreaders instead they give a bit less oxygen but also give biomass. 2.) you can use the T1 ore extraction to mine bauxite, dolomite, and uranitie and I know where you can place them to mine.
I'd very much love to see them throw everyone for a loop in this world. Everyone is worrying about water levels rising ... what if its not about water this time, but lava? All those ice sections just to throw you off and think of water, but then a volcano pops up and starts oozing lava down into huge lava lakes.
I found a golden chest! In the ice caves, at the south of the second big ice chamber, between the one with your new base and the one with osmium underwater, half buried in a snow bank. It had a little model of the rover in but no golden seed.
When you get chips, build a screen in your oxygen compartment and decide them on the go. Then you don't have to use inventory space to take them back to your base
At 7:56 you came across the sculpture with the stone "egg". At some point it will turn into a colored crystal. I already found 21 of them. Luckily I marked them all with a beacon.
I'm really enjoying this series! FYI - I just read this in the notes from a patch that came out for Humble: Added 23 new "Starform Crates" Similar to golden crates, containing a high quality flower seeds and a newly added Starform effigy. I think I found one of these; it was a green crate and had a new effigy in it. 😎
I really enjoy your videos and am excited to see how your game goes (and what you find that I'm missing)! I keep meaning to go back to one of your golden chest videos from the main game and comment that I found one not listed, in the Red Moss biome. Anyway I'm hoping you'll do a similar video once you've found all the star chests. Also - wait until you see what the ice cave becomes!
you want to check out the sulfer area behind your base up on the cliff ledge up high there is a green loot box with a goodie inside it...but might better jet pac
It's almost painful to watch all the big storage lockers go up. You absolutely need them but I remember the pain of changing like a zillion storage lockers from T1 to T2 when the blueprint became available. Lol. That was a huge base overhaul in the Prime game. Love your vids. One question - how many cups of coffee do you down before you record? :D Your excitement is so much fun to watch. I do love the ice cave base so far, really interested in how the cave develops.
I think you need to keep the rocket pad outside the cave, part of the point is to be able to grab the materials from the meteor shower but being in the cave will make that rather difficult...
There is a place above some of the ice caves that you can only reach with a jet pack.. black ground.. has a bunch of osmium and wrecked equipment. I'm not sure which cave its above.. I was exploring lol. but its a big area.. plz upvote so he sees. edit: he shows it when looking around at 46:06.. that dark black set of clifffs on the left.. the osmium is on top of those.
The rockets don't actually have to launch into space, I often hop onto my rockets to make them spin out of control and smash into the ground but they always count anyway
am at 500 GTI and @z1gaming your base location is going to be under water hahaha. EDIT: look back at your crashed pod and look down off the edge behind you all that mist disapears and it becomes a lovely beach and sea perfect for a new base im currently moving my stuff down there but im only concerned about the distance of my drones bringing items back to it.

I have tons of drills and heaters and plants. I’m not sure where I’m going wrong. At one point I saw yours just keep ticking away steadily none stop.
Just starting the video. As part of your base location monolog, didn't you unlock a GPS rocket earlier? Shouldn't you launch that and use the map screen to help location hunt?
30:22 sigh, you thought about more crushers for all of 2 seconds, then tossed it. Seriously, you need more. That, or shuffle the ore input so you get all output types as it works.
