my biggest advice as someone who graduated nearly three years ago: enjoy and take in every single moment, good and bad, even when you’re super stressed with deadlines and dissertations and homesickness - there’s no other time in your life that’s comparable to being a uni student and i promise you that you’ll miss it all when it ends ❤ very excited for the taipei vlogs!!
@@maneskinnnnn7190 I'm almost graduated. But I pretty much hate it too. It's stressful and awkward for me. I relate to what you say about security and feeling part of something though. It's a place of potential and you feel a sense of progress; like you are working towards something + there is a clear structure that provides you with an idea of what will be going on the next week, month, etc. I think I will be missing that, but I'm gonna try not to romanticize it too much.
Hey jade, my parents are Buddhists. I learned Buddhism in my secondary school.(cause it was mandatory). Eventhough I have a lot to learn about Buddhism , the basic ideas of Buddhism really improve the quality of life. So hope you will learn Buddhism ( not as a course, but as a hobby or a skill). And as I know Buddhism in Taipei is different from Buddhism in my country.
Hello jade, I’m currently doing my master’s degree in NTU, and I’ve followed your channel since 3 years ago! I still cannot believe that you’re in Taipei! I would like to briefly introduce some attractions in Taipei. Jiufen old street is a place which still reserve traditional Chinese architecture. People likes to enjoy Chinese tea there and immersed in the atmosphere. In addition, Xiangshan mountain is a mountain which you don’t need too much time to climb up, and there are many spots to view Taipei 101. The view at night is very beautiful, so I recommend to go to Xiangshan at night. I hope you have a great time here and stay healthy.❤
Jade, can I just say you are the most amazing, kind and genuine human being. I have watched you since I started sixth form and now we are both in our final year. It has been so amazing to see the woman you have become, your family must be so proud! You have literally motivated me so much and seeing your journey has honestly been great. I have so much faith that you will become successful in whatever field you choose and I wish you the very best in everything❤❤
Hi Jade, it’s Lynne again ✨ I know you went into your final semester with a different mindset than usual, but it’s amazing to see you doing so well! I believe your most special and unique quality is that you can turn any experience into the best it can be. You always welcome new opportunities and discomfort into your life, and it’s so inspiring to see you expand your comfort zone again and again. Thank you for being my endless inspiration and for giving me the courage I need to take charge of my own life 💖🫶 PS. I’m majoring in forestry (specifically urban forestry) at my university! It’s so cool to hear you talk about the essence of my degree on camera 🤩
hi Jade - me and my whole family are Taiwanese (me having never lived there) and I just want to share my enthusiasm that you're there - it's been many years since I've had a chance to go back and seeing you go around with such excitement is so nice
I was soooo happy and surprised to hear you’re in Taipei, Taiwan for your last semester!!! You’re honestly going to love it, the people there are warm hearted and true gems and don’t even get me started on the abundance of good food options!! Especially vegetarian!! Can’t wait to watch all your Taipei vlogs!!!!
Wow, that tea making course sounds amazing! I could totally imagine you opening up Tea & Study cafés (with a philanthropic element) all around the world! 😉☕📚 Also, welcome to the world of AG1! It was the power of RU-vid that introduced me and my daughters to it (Thanks Eamonn & Bec and Tyler & Todd!) and we've definitely noticed the benefits. (Plus it saves a fortune on buying all the supplements separately) Enjoy your last term in Taipei, it looks so green and warm! ✨
Just the video I needed. In 10 days I'm treading my homely life in Europe for a semester in Ecuador. I have one more exam to finish before leaving. And this video has given me some peace
I'm a NTU alumna and I used to live in a dorm very similar to yours! Looking at you decorating your room and eating dumplings got me so reminiscent of my college years 😭✨ Welcome to NTU, it's a great school, you're going to love it 💖!!!
I love your videos - they really inspire me every time I watch one! I also love how much you already seem to be thriving being surrounded by the nature in Taiwan!! I was just wondering, is there a reason Minerva gives behind the order of the places you study abroad each semester? Because it's quite bizarre that you're having a first year dorm and university experience in your 4th year!! 😅
This is the kind of university experience I could never had (mostly because of severe mental illness that make it unsafe for me to travel and lack of funding) but it's great watching someone else live an experience like this and I'm glad I can learn about it
Yussssss! Get it! This is the first time I will comment on one of your videos! I'm so glad that you're doing well its so great to see from burnout to such an awesome video about a new semester! Love your video!
I can't believe you're moving to Taipei and going to NTU! I've studied and lived there for 6 years and miss it so much now that I've moved to NYC. I hope you have a great time there.
Jane,YOU are the casual magic✨ I’ve been watching your videos since your first semester being a student myself. And this year is my final year at as well:) You’ve been my peaceful and healthy motivation for these years, I learned so many studying techniques from you that helped me to stay organized and develop health relationships with grades, and of course fell in love with Notion thanks to you😍 I rarely leave comments, but I felt like I needed to❤ thank you for being you!
Jade, I literally love you so much (however much you can love a 'stranger' on the internet, haha). You bring so much joy to my life with everything you post! My values, the act of looking for casual magic, my style, how I want to be as a person, embracing my curls, and my open-midedness and ambition have all (at least partly) been inspired by you, since I've been following your journey for some years now. I feel like I've grown with you, in the best way possible. I have always watched a lot of youtube videos, but you are one of the top three people that infuenced my life the most. Thank you so much for all the work you put into this. It is 100% appreciated.
Always inspired by your videos Your vlogs are really nice and aesthetic,Thank you so much for keep motivating us All the best for your future journeys Jade ❤️❤️ Lots of love from India 💙💙
Hi Jade, I’ve watch your video 4years ago when you just started your RU-vid Channel (or just started vlogging your Uni life sorry I can’t remember). And I’m born and live in Taipei for 25 years, so it’s pretty pretty cool and feel a bit weird (don’t know how to explain the feeling exactly 😂)to see Taipei appears in your vlog background! Anyway, really welcome you to Taiwan! Hope you enjoy the life here!❤
Hey Jade! I know youll have an amzing term. Could you poss fit the suitcases under the bunk bed? orrrr push the bunkbed towards the door a bit and have them standing them up inbetween the wall and bunk bed? x
HIII!! Hope you' re doing well! And succes with your graduation, girlll you can do it !!! Question: What advice would you give your follower if he/she is 17 years old and almost graduating from high school X ?
Hi I just heard that I am accepted to go to Taiwan (Hsingchu). I have no idea yet how to do all my paper work and so on. If there is someone that is also going to this city or even another city during the months of September t January 2024, please let me know and we can start forming a little community!
I think due to issues with covid her year had to change plans, which would explain why she spent two semesters in Berlin (one would have originally been the one in India)
