If you're interested in Frankie being more healthy and weigh less the vet can prescribe special low calorie food or you can try finding food at pet food stores. Kidney disease, diabetes and obesity are the primary diseases that will kill cats unfortunately. I believe you said that he eats Boo's food at times but for their long term health it;s important to try to help him(your vet will have better/more suggestions). Just saying because I know both you and your mom care about animals and he's super sweet too.
