Moving WordPress site to new domain - All in one WP Migration

Thank you so much. I was dreading this day when a URL I no longer wanted was to expire but with content on the site that I wanted to take time checking. The plugin worked almost perfectly but was programmed for a 128MB file, whereas mine was 205MB. I followed the suggestions for changing that, of which a couple did not work, but the add on plugin, WP All In One Migration Extension allowed me import to the new site seamlessly. Also, for the benefit of anyonw who wants to save a site's content but not necessarily buy a new domain for the purpose, and has an existing, in-use site, you can do what I did, create a sub-domain of an existing site and install Wordpress there.

Thank you, so far it's the only plugin that was able to export my 500MB website from a shared hosting. Tip - connect with FTP and download the file, it will be much faster than downloading from WordPress interface, in my case 1MB/s vs 75KB/s... But upload still sucks, will probably take an hour even though I have 30Mbps fiber upload speed

I've loved this plugin too. Just used it for a Divi site for the first time and all the pages except for the home page lost their databases or something. They show in Pages in Admin, but get a 403 Forbidden if you try to access the pages - front end or back end or Divi builder. Going to try export and import again.

Hi, the plugin and video are loud and clear, super! The only thing I missed is some aftercare, when you did the export from A to B, you have to login on B with the A login, right?! Ofcourse to complete the migration/copy session you have to manage the login for B to the previous situation.

so, if we are changing to a new domain. its not best to search and replace first for the new domain?

clear explanation! (sorry for my English) little question, since it overwrite, lets say we have 100 photos in the old site and 50 photos in the new one (exported) when you import will it erase the old 100 pics or juste replace the ones with the same names and leave the unused ones there?

great tutorial. Will this process work for me if ive already built a website under "My" domain name but i want to host it on siteground under a client domain name how do i do that? I already have client domain name dns pointing to siteground hosting but i need the content from "my domain name" to be under my client domain name.

what about the links of the original webiste. will they not be in the links on the import? so once you import, wont the links feature the domain name from the website you copied from? how do you get around this?

I followed this to the T but lost all content on a website which had betheme and child theme installed only the header and footer are remaining and all the content in between is lost. Tried several times without success. Would updating the theme bring back the content? Please advice. Thanks.

What if you just want to copy the site to another URL + host? If I use the plug-in to export, does the site still exist where I exported from? Does it copy the data or cut and paste it to the new site?

How do you get the size of your file to be 96MB with so many photos? I only have a few and used a photo compressor and it says my files are still 590MB??

Hello dear. Just question for my case if i use paid plugins like elementor and crocoblock fo i need to install and activate on the new website first before i import the file.

What do you do if the person's website comes up with a 404 page not found on the other side. I have someone who has brought the domain of the name of the website, but her webpage keeps stating that it can't find it? Does she need to login into her Wordpress account?

Easy to work with but I'm facing issues with Elementor pages. They show as imported in new location but when I click edit with elementor it fails to load.

Sir i am using Localwp and i created one website and restore backup file which is 9gb to local host with the help of all in one migration pro . but when process is 100% it shown "Unable to import Your PHP is 32-bit. In order to import your file, please change your PHP version to 64-bit and try again." Sir how to fix that issue?

Though, when I login to Wordpress I'm logging in with the same username & password for both sites, is that normal? Could I delete the old domain, or would I screw up because the sites are linked?
